Nashville by a lot.
Going to be a great game...
physicality against speed... I think Booneville runs out of gas late and Nashville wins by 14.
I have absolutely no idea
I think this will be a lower scoring game...
Nashville 28
Booneville 13
Only gives up 70 passing yds a game- 20
Will throw for 350- 44
Booneville already has 14 points for home field and another 7 for that train horn which has been a bit out of control as of late. I'm going Cats 28-21 for the upset!
Hard to give a prediction yet. Worried it may be a high scoring affair. Nash doesn't play disciplined d which leads to our favor. If we play a soft zone, that'll spell trouble for us. Big second round game that's for sure!
Tell them Top Shelf. It going to be trouble for them all right. Mercy mercy. Nashville 56. Boonville 20.
I don't know, I heard the 7-4A teams weren't accustomed to physical football this year.
Hmmm. You'll see
Coming off a 3 week bye, Nashville isn't the kinda team you want to be facing......We'll be lucky to even keep it close. ::)
Nashville fans shouldn't waste their time and money to travel up for this game. It will be over by halftime. Everyone knows there is no possible way Booneville can even keep up with any team from the 4A-7 juggernaut of a conference. We're too little and too slow!! Everyone knows that! And our style of football just isn't built to match up against a prolific offense, such as Nashville's. Someone please tell the school not to waste any money on those fireworks we shoot off when we score.....we won't be needing any.

They won't waste any. Nashville school district reimburses all fans for travelling to all games. Gives them a eating allowance too.

Well then come on up and grab some BBQ at Reid's! Your allowance will be well spent.
Booneville 35 - Nashville 21
This is an infrequent rivalry, yet very intense when it does happen. Two great programs and two proud fanbases.
Nashville will lose by 2 or 3 scores... Anytime they play a quality team with a physical run game it does not end of well for the Scrappers.... I'll go Booneville 42-21

Didn't have to...you did
Booneville will pass on you after they suck your corners and safeties into that stout running game. The receiver will be wide open and Ulmer can throw it well.
Obviously cliche but I think this game comes down to turnovers. Booneville wants to be Wynne to Nashville's Little Rock Christian.
Cats aren't in a good spot. Bye week, two last regular season games weren't any competition. Hope the boys have healed and come in fresh! Get them Nash dobbers down so they can't pull away in the second half.

If you can run the football you can beat Nashville.
Thats what Biscxit thought too.

I think it will be a good, close game. I expect Booneville to win, mostly because they are stronger and more skilled at the line of scrimmage. Nashville's 3-4 D will struggle with the option and Ulmer should be able to hit some guys over the top for big plays a few times.

I bet you see a lot of 5-3 looks.
I heard we were putting in the 7-1 Diamond this week and the Buddy Ryan's 46.
Wouldn't surprise me to see all 11 in the box the first few plays!! We are a passing team now anyways.

6 seniors on offense, 5 of them skill players. 5 on defense, 3 on line and 2 in secondary. Its a very young team, especially on defense. I'm not sure if you will see guys go both ways or not, probably will just depend on how the game goes. Nashville's defense has been playing pretty good as of late.

Will have 1-4 seniors on offense at times. 2 min to 3 seniors on d at times. Only a couple play every snap on both sides. Possibly 4-5 more will roll in and out. Our best o and d would have 7 playing every snap on both sides.

Don't worry. We know we don't stand a chance. I just hope we can stay on the same field as the scrappers during warmups. We also aren't 3,000-0-1 in jr high like you guys. Our school board is contemplating having our AD just forfeit due to the potential insurance claims that will be turned in. We are a bunch of short, slow, country boys that cant take a hit.
Volarvich will wear that defense down pretty quick. Booneville will have to have long drives on offense if they have a lot going both ways. I also expect to see Booneville onside kick.

Exactly. Our coach is no match compared to the resume of nash's hc. We aren't accustomed to long drives or playing both ways so it definitely wont work for us. We have also kicked on sides at least twice in the last 14.5 years so its pretty much routine and I expect it every time.
Nevermind..... You guys must not be able to read. 2 play every snap. another 5 or so will roll in and out on one side or the other. That's pretty much SOP in south logan and has been for years. Man coverage takes care of the Nashville O. Is volarvich gonna go out there and wear the d down him self? Or maybe just call short dump passes here and there cause that's the only passes the qb can make with accuracy? Long drives is what we have done for o..say...70 years. Directional kick...Yes...onside...as needed.

Last year. Nashville didn't have this kind of a passing attack last year. Arkadelphia, who many consider to be one of the best defense in 4A, gave up 300 yards passing playing a man defense in the first half.

Who defeated Bville this year?
This is why I only get on here during the playoffs....maybe I'm just easily amused, because it's the same thing every year, but the entertainment is great!! Every year it's a 4a-7 or 4a-8 team saying "Booneville is too short and slow", "Booneville hasn't seen anything yet", "Booneville is no match for (star player)", "Our team can easily shut down the power run. Just look at what we did to (other team)"......and Booneville doesn't win every time this happens, so don't misunderstand me.....but more often than not, Booneville proves them wrong and it's hysterical when it happens. At least it is to me.
So please, for my own selfish entertainment, keep it up!

Dardy did a great job of stuffing the fullback. Their safeties were just a bit too eager to jump the lane on the perimeter and it burned them a couple of times over the top. Then again, if they hadn't jumped the lanes, the halfbacks run for chunk yardage.
Gotta choose who to shut down.

Exactly, but that fullback wasn't 100% then. And that's Dardy's D, not Nastyville's. Even at that I saw several good runs from him right up the gut. He is low and stout and has good speed for a battering ram.

That is an unfortunate danger. You would have to hope that being a physical team your kids would be good and hungry to hit some good competition by now. I'm sure they are eager and healthy.

Talk does win games. AAA checks all the threads at noon on game day and the winning fans get spotted 3 holding calls against the losing fans. They relay the results to all schedulers throughout the state. Pretty slick method of reward with no suspicion!
Nah...that's no excuse. Any towns fans would feel a bit ancy if your team basically goes almost a month between a game!

I'm not sure if you will see guys go both ways or not, probably will just depend on how the game goes. Nashville's defense has been playing pretty good as of late.

I'm used to saying that this year. At the beginning of the season some of those seniors had never played high school ball before. There were something like only 4 on offense and 4 on defense that had ever started a Sr high game before. Obviously at this point it doesn't really matter anymore since we are 11 games in. They are experienced enough now.

It is to poor poor ole nash fans who want all of their starters seniors! They complain that their rosters are too small nowadays. We can barely fill one side of the ball with one grade!
We barely have enough for a team. Luckily we were able to move up some of the 9th grade class so all 11 players didn't have to go both ways.

Here is a ladder that shows you Nashville will be pummeled by the run game of Booneville which the Scrapers will have no answer for whatsoever....
-Nashville lost to Dequeen
-Dequeen lost to Camden Fairview
-Camden Fairview lost to Hamburg
-Hamburg lost to Star City
-Star City lost to Monticello
-Monticello lost to Fordyce
-Fordyce lost to Hampton
-Hampton lost to Mineral Springs
......Therefore Nashville technically lost to their tiny neighbors Mineral Springs ;D ..... So Booneville shouldn't even be worried about this game. If the Scrapers can not even compete with the little tiny Hornets how can they possible beat a physical Bearcat team?

Something doesn't add up here.
Booneville's 2370 total yards divided by 10 games is an average of 237 ypg. About 30 yards less per game than the original stats posted earlier.
What's your source for these stats? One of the two is wrong.
Yeah his math doesn't add up. Ypg is an avg crapman so if ones avg is higher per game and they've played the same amount of games........ the answer would be booneville has more yards rushing on the year too. Must be that block scheduling thing yall have over there. You play with blocks in stead of learning math
Even if Scrappery Rodham's stats are correct, the difference in total rushing yards is 94, and Nashville has played one more game than Booneville.
The first thing I was taught in statistics was to be skeptical with statistics.

Didn't brag. Stated a fact. I keep hearing about this power run game that nobody can contain when the facts show they run the ball similar to Nashville and we are not even considered a running team. Seams to me they are a poor passing team with an average running game. Thats what the numbers say.
But they play defense too
What are the yards per carry for Nashville and Booneville. I imagine Booneville has a better YPC too because I imagine Nashville runs way, way more snaps per game than Booneville. I imagine Booneville along with Prairie Grove run the least plays per game of the usual solid teams in 4A. Teams offensive numbers can be totally misleading sometimes.

You keep talking about these numbers, yet you can't produce a source or link to anything. Nothing is a fact until it's proven.
I'm assuming you're referring to MaxPreps as your source, because they show 2370 total rushing yards for Booneville.
However, they also show Booneville's total receiving yards to be 686, yet Kevin Taylor with the Southwest Times tweeted that Brandon Ulmer (who has missed 2 or 3 games, mind you) has a total of 745 passing yards on the season. So obviously, MaxPreps isn't very reliable.
Ok crapman, I just did reverse averages and Nashville's yards rushing this year comes to 2425.5 while Boony's is 2655 and have played one less game. So, you are still wrong and I shouldn't have questioned myself. You may now go back to playing with lincoln logs, trying to put the blocks in the correct hole and licking windows...
Nashville has ran the ball 368 times for 2413 yards. Average of 6.56 per carry.
Booneville has 402 carries for 2370 yards. Average of 5.9 per carry.
Where's Glenn Parrish when you need him??
Wps your math isn't adding up either. One of your posts has to be wrong
I just quickly got numbers off maxpreps for this past post. The numbers in the original post are correct.
Then your next to last wasn't, so no matter what boony has more yards on the year

Ahhhh....didnt know someone at Booneville reported stats wrong to maxpreps and the times guy was more reliable than the coaches.
I mean if the passing stats are wrong then the rush stats must be too. It just wouldn't be right for Nash to have more rushing yds total and yards per rush than the all might ground and pound. Let's blame the stat guy.
Kevin Taylor gets his stats directly from Booneville's stat guy. Not sure where MaxPreps gets their's.

This statement is absolutely true, that's exactly how it happened. And we aren't the only ones to fall for it this season.

Someone from Nashville really needs to call the AAA about that train horn. I think artificial noise makers are still illegal. If it is like it used to be, they won't score much on the dive play, but the horn will not ever stop.

Don't worry about it. We're no match for Nashville's well rounded offense, and our offense is "too boring" to move the ball against a Scrapper defense that rotates 95 players to keep things fresh. I'm sure the train horn will remain silent all night.

Call away. It doesn't have a external power source so it is perfectly legal and it's our house. Nashville should have won their conference and they could have had home field and Dardanelle would get to go beat them at home this week. 😂😂😂. 2. Students old enough to have a DL, but don't own a car
3. Students old enough to have a DL, and own a car, who would rather ride the bus.. probably because one wrong turn around Booneville and your in Aintry, face-to-face with Sheriff Bullard.

Rumor has it the reason they're decent at football is because the parents start them off with Mountain Dew in their baby bottles and by 3 months they're on a diet of catfish and Vienna sausages!!!
Very disrespectful! Everyone that's anyone knows this to be false. All children are breastfed until they're 3 because us guys love heavy chested women. Then they're put on well water til 12. Makers mark from then on. And the diet is a steady dose of raw deer meat, fried crappie and boiled double yokers.
