I agree with @TheMaroonKnight that it feels like Warren vs Crossett for the championship, but you have to be wary of a Monticello that just upset Nashville in their own house.  Thats a bigtime win for the Billies!

Oof looks like we will play for 3rd and 4th place now. Crossett pitching struggled late in the game. I hope they can win a couple at State.

The crew did their best to take it out of Gosnells hands today and succeeded. I hate griping about umps because Walnut Ridge played great and is a great team. How do you eject our clean up hitter for saying to himself "that is the same play". He didn't shout it and didn't look at the ump just said it after a bang bang play. Horrible. Made the difference in the game.

We can reason that the defense got better   Heard deserved the Chapel job. Offense stayed the same. But reasoning would also say the kids got older that played in 2021 that are now graduating.
