Thanks HeadTiger.  Bulldog42, I see ICC is coming to town.  Is Flippin going to get revenge for one of those October loses tonight?

Bobcats, I hope so.  Should be a good game, it will for sure be a tough non-conference matchup.  I am just glad we have them at home  and not ICC, that is a tough place to travel to.

Boys: Flippin (11-0), Valley Springs (9-2), Marshall (9-2), Yellville-Summit (7-4), Melbourne (4-7), Bergman (4-6), Cotter (3-9), Mt. View (2-9),  and Green Forest (1-11).

Melbourne girls beat Yellville last night.

Thanks, I will update.

These should be current:

Girls: Valley Springs (11-0), Bergman (9-1), Mt. View (8-3), Flippin (7-4), Melbourne (6-5),  Yellville-Summit (5-6), Marshall (3-8), Cotter (1-11) and Green Forest (0-12)

Boys: Flippin (11-0), Valley Springs (9-2), Marshall (9-2), Yellville-Summit (7-4), Melbourne (4-7), Bergman (4-6), Cotter (3-9), Mt. View (2-9),  and Green Forest (1-11).

Bergman plays at Valley Springs on Friday so that game should pretty much decide first place in the girls, Valley beat Bergman by 6 first time around.

On the Boys side Flippin still have to play at Marshall and at Valley Springs.

KTLO and Boonecosports.com have both updated their conference standings.  KTLO shows all the results and the tie points.

Here is KTLO link http://imgsrv.ktlo.com/image/ktlo/UserFiles/File/PDF/Sports/2014-153A-1Eastbasketball1-22-15.pdf

I won't go through them all but here is how the tie points set for the top 4 in boys, 1. Flippin 11-0 (109), 2. Marshall 9-2 (84), 3.  Valley Springs 9-2 (80), 4. Yellville 7-4 (53).
Girls 1. Valley 11-0 106, 2. Bergman 9-1 (90), 3. Mt View 7-3 (63), 4. Flippin 7-4 (70), 5. Melbourne 6-4 (59)

HawgDaddy

Valley boys own the tie-breaker over Marshall.  Total points will only matter if their is a 3-way tie.  Valley beat Marshall by 10 and Marshall beat Valley by 6.  As of right now, Valley is the #2 on the boys side.

bulldog42

Big game tonight on the girls side as Bergman goes to Valley Springs.  The last time these two played Valley one by 6, this game will for all intent and purposes probably decide the 1 and 2 seeds for the district tournament.

Valley girls won 64-38. Neither team shot the ball all that well, the Lady Tigers a smidge better than the Lady Panthers who got more than half their points from the free throw line. Game was kind of anticlimatic really

Don't follow this conference outside of seeing scores on here...but it just looks weird to see anyone below Cotter in the standings...

Understandable, but Cotter is going to be tough in that league the next few years.  They won at Bergman last night.  Took Valley Springs to overtime earlier too. They return most of their team next year and have some studs coming up from the JH team.

Big game tonight as Flippin goes to Marshall.

Yes they have and it doesn't look like any changes in the next few years either.

I think their Jr. Boys are pretty solid, just can't stay healthy.

bulldog42

Here are the conference standings.  Most teams have two games left this week.  I think the only exception is Cotter who has 1 game.  Valley Girls and Flippin Boys have clinched at least the 1 seed in regionals.  Both have a least a share of the conference crown.
