Banged up players this year

Maybe it's just me but it seems this year more teams have had more banged up players than I can remember.. I know every team will have 1 or 2 banged up here and there but this year it seems that teams have had 5-6 kids banged up for most of the season.. A couple of teams have had 7-8 out at the same time for multiple games.. And it seems to be State wide this year.. Anybody else seeing this??

There has been a lot of talk about all the injuries to Charleston in mid-season. JC and Newport's QB's missed all or part of multiple games.

One of Harding's best 2-way players went out on the first series of their first conference game with a broken wrist. He is a key receiver, running back, a leading tackler on defense, and the holder. They also lost their 2nd- string holder and kicker. They had multiple players out for several games, culminating in the Mayflower game in which they had 8 players not dressed, including 2 of their top 3 receivers.

I have seen other reports but can't remember them offhand.
