Lamar leads by two with five seconds left, Riverside's ball.

FINAL 58-54 Lamar wins. Idiotic move by Riverside coach to stall last 3 minutes . I'll never understand why you stall when you outscored the team 31-17 that half ?

I detest the stall strategy. Keep doing what got you there.

It makes me happy every time the stall ball coach fails miserably.... Sad that the kids had to suffer because of the coaches weakness.

I agree. Riverside clearly had the momentum that whole half .

Great comeback by the Lady Rebels but no doubt the stall ball got them in regulation and overtime. Congrats to the Lamar Lady Warriors on the victory.

Need to show confidence inn your players ability to score. stalling is a momentum killer. Proud of the effort the girls displayed.

Brayden Caudle drives the lane and hits a layup as the buzzer goes off for the win! Yes! Big time! Quarterback on the football field, game winning point guard on the court.

Latter 2 games in bracket to see who makes it to quarterfinals should be good ones

Last 2 games of the night involved a team blowing a 15+ point lead and then hanging on in the end. What a way to end February!

I hate to hear that all those countless hours in the gym sending up shot after shot after shot was all gone to waste tonight for R'side. Congratulations to the seniors on their basketball career. Y'all will be missed!!

Sorry I missed those games.  Wasn’t able to get to the gym tonight. I will definitely be there 1 March to see DC/Tuckerman,  Barton/Centerpoint and Junction/City Manila games.  All have the opportunity to be great games.

I agree. But we slowed it down in the second giving the momentum up.   But I agree. I said that's what cost y'all.  But way to come back.  Just curious if my kiddo is going to play a game any this year without getting fronted the whole game sure it hurts her production but it sure helps her teammates. .  :) I understand why sorta.  But man at half I thought this should be it.

I tried saying that the other day after Mountain View beat them, but everyone just said that Riverside had an off night.  Mountain View played 11 teams that had winning records. Riverside only played 9, and two of them we're by one win. At the beginning of this week, 10 of mountain View's opponents were playing in the postseason. Only 6 of Riverside's word, Mountain View, Hoxie, and Melbourne included.

To my knowledge, Mountain View is the only team that came into this tournament having beaten seven of the 16 teams, 5 of whom were on their side of the bracket

Every game matters though, and Mountainview sure has one big Target on their back, because Harding Academy, Bald Knob, Rosebud, and Melbourne want revenge

I know it's Maxpreps but their strength of schedule wasn't bad
