Great game.  Ozark came out cold, Booneville got a big lead only to see the Hillbillies come back but the Cats prevail.

Booneville's girls played tremendously well.  Much improved over the start of the season.

Meantime....

Waldron 73
Subiaco 70

Waldron's Payton Brown lights up the night with 56 points.  Yes, 56.

A wild night in the 4-4A!!

Not from Pottsville ;). but you are right about the score.

I thought y'all were gonna pull off the comeback in the 4th, but between fouls and Pottsville waking up it didn't happen.

Your right Lakyn fouling out was the reason.  And all the bogus travel violations. But yes her fouls especially last two were on her.  I don't know about walking up really just a tough road game (which is to be expected)

Never know how a team will react when an injured starter has to sit out. A nail biter for a bit. Errant passes was the story early, but Apaches got it together, almost too late though.

I heard that one of Pottsvilles starters was out and didn't suit up for the game and that Pottsville had a bunch of turnovers!

Yes that's accurate on them missing a starter. Both teams turned the ball over a whole bunch.  The tide turned When Lamar  point guard fouled out. Pottsville #23 shot lights out.  I don't think she missed.   Had to have near 30 points.

Ozark Hog

It kind of funny you never know who on that team is going to score a bunch of points from what I've had heard on any given night two or three can put up double figures and the next game they couldn't throw in the ocean.

Bbal789

Bauxite beat ESTEM 50-49 last night. Graham Chenault had 24 points

prHOG13

Pea Ridge beats Elkins 64-35 and ties a school record set previously this season with 17 three pointers. This game was for 1st place in the 1, and Pea Ridge moves to 9-1 in conference.

This team is capable of shooting just like last years squad. A lot of fun to watch when they're hitting like that.

They finally let my man D1 (#1) play. He had crowd goin crazy!!!
Now we need to tweak a few more things in the Lineup and we goin be ready for state.
For instance #42 gota start shooting when he open. He makes our rebounding and D better plus can pass and see the floor.
we gota quit playing kids that just aren't ready the whole game.
And rite now we outscore opponents by more when our best player on bench. But we cant win state without him. just gota keep the ball swinging. He Hit some big shots vs Estem. I wish he just shoot it when catches ball 3ft behind line.
I think we fixing get it goin and then Watchout for The Miners.

Yea I agree #1 should have been playing a lot a long time ago but better late than never

Heard girls game was 34 to 34 end of regulation, and intentional foul back with a technical foul in OT  Was it more lack of Ozark or Ctown play good enough d to slow them down?
