I think you may be in the same boat that I don't like those either. I'd rather play a weak 5 seed and at least get 2 or 2 and half quarters for my starters to not get rusty and then get the running clock and then yank the starters to rest for round 2.

What is that supposed to mean? A couple of years back while we were in the little old 2A we  beat a Smackover team that played for a title. With troubles behind the scenes last year we done fine. But this year we are much better. Don't know if we play for a title but this team is good.

Seeing both Charleston and Junction play this year I think they meet up in the semis but at this point I give the edge to Charleston.

You see what bye weeks do to teams. Charleston is a prime example. 9-0 win over a Smackover team that was 7-4 and lost one of the best classes to come through Smackover due to graduation.

Bye weeks can be a curse or a blessing, just depends on how healthy the team is at the end of reg season, and how successful a coaching staff is at keeping the kids motivated and in shape for round two.  I'm thinking a good team scrimmage on Thursday night of the bye week would help out.
