12th Man is not dissing the kid here, but he's seen Freeman play several times and was never impressed. Martin and Robinson are much more impressive in 12th Man's personal opinion. Maybe every time 12th Man saw him was an off night...

No Osceola kids?  I saw a Frankie Gathen comment in a publication that this year's team is more talented than the 2001 team (bold statement)

Can't comment on Osceola since 12th Man hasn't seen any play. They weren't in state last year so 12th Man didn't get to see them. Could you tell us more about them and who to watch for?

He's very good, but can be a little streaky with his outside shot. When he is on he is probably the most unguardable player on the team. Very quick with great hands on defense, only defensive weakness is strength.
So I don't know if he is in the top 5 in the entire 3A but he is very close.

No worries here. I am not arguing that he is a good ball player and I hate that he, a kid, has been called out on this thread several times. I am just stating that, as a father also, I would not want to open my son up to such scrutiny by constantly boasting my boys stats. Let someone else do that. I do wish you and your son the best of luck this year.

When Freeman is feeling his shot, and feeling good about his offensive game, he's the best offensive player in the state. No doubt about it. When he's not hitting shots, he assumes the role of a true point guard and gives assists and plays solid defense. You could say he's inconsistent, but he's never bad, if that makes sense

Freeman is not the best offensive player in the state.  Many players can say "when I feel it, I am the best".  I have seen him shoot his team out of games.  He is their third best point guard also.  Still a really good player though just a testament to the talent of his teammates.

Eagle we have disagreed on opinions and posts before , but this is accurate in my opinion. Taking nothing away from Freeman , he just has a really good cast of guards around him. They, ECS , will have a couple more this year to add to that depth. Their D pressure should be scary, I would suggest 7A good in that department.
