Alma should just throw the ball to #21 every snap.  He catches EVERYTHING.

The catch he made on the long pass early in the 3rd quarter against us was next-level stuff.  Our defensive back was in great position and got his head turned and everything, and the kid reached around our DB's shoulders to haul it in.

Plus, he runs really good routes.  He was constantly getting separation on short to intermediate routes.

The past four weeks, have been 49 points at Clarksville, 35 at Harrison, 34 against Greenbrier, and 31? against Maumelle. This kinda scares me. White Hall lost 3 back to back other than that they've played pretty good. They score about 45 or so a game. So either one Alma needs to show up at 7pm tonight and not 845 or are deffense needs to play really well.
I think its by a touchdown after seeing those scores. Either way my heart says Alma, deep down inside it says White Hall

I'm right there with you. Ollie has been on the radar as soon as I got ahold of the film. Alma needs to show up the first quarter and needs to contain him in the pocket to force him to throw the ball downfield. If the 'Dales can do that then they improve their chance of winning tremendously.

Ollie is a heck of an athlete. Going off topic a little, but he's a heck of a baseball and basketball player. One of the most decorated athletes I've seen at White Hall.

A few things I thought after this game:

1. This Alma team is so interesting. Paw-Paw is right, 1st half slow starts are almost part of the identity. Reminds me of a runner in track with an amazing kick. He might be in last after the first lap of the half mile, but gives everything he has on the 2nd lap. Sometimes it is enough, sometimes it is not. I don't know if this is by design (it doesn't seem to be by Coach L's comments, but certain things could still lead you to believe they don't mind being an amazing 2nd half team). If this team is within 1 score of any team at half, I like Alma's chances.

2. Brayden Johnson is always the player that shows up to other coaches and fans immediately and rightfully so. He had a big game on the big stage. I hope he can carry that on for a few more games (3 more games).

3. Good special teams game from the Airedales. Good games seem to go unnoticed sometimes while bad ones are scrutinized.

4. The O-Line did a fantastic job. Coach L was very proud of this O-Line after the game and I went back to watch and I can see why. The 2nd half was just big hole after big hole. I could have probably got a few yards behind that line. It is great to know that O-Line is all juniors and they all return next year. Peaking at the right time.

5. Garrison made some great plays at important times.

6. Reddick for White Hall was not oversold, he was the real deal. WH fans hit it on the nose that the Bulldogs shot themselves in the foot some. Some big penalties and holding calls set them back. Reddick was contained in the 2nd half (not stopped) and that's all you can do with someone like him.

Hope any White Hall fan that made the trip enjoyed some of the atmosphere at least. Go Airedales!
