No, I don't reckon we have been a homecoming opponent in a while. But the reason is cause most teams want to win that night. Heck get clarendon to schedule us a their opponent. See what happens. If a team has a problem getting up for Des Arc, it's probably cause they can't get up that high, well by reading your post, you can get pretty HIGH.

assuming you graduated from Clarendon, what year? Do they still offer English for a credit in Clarendon or do they only have Basketball and recess as school credits there?

84 it was a good game. Not as close as the score indicates. Clarendon had 2 offensive tds. The other was on a blocked punt. And a safety on a punt attempt. We absolutely suck at punting. We pretty much shut the run game down. They have got 2 real tall kids like 9 feet number 10 caught a jump ball for one of the scores. And the other offensive score was made by number 8 a real good looking slot receiver/Halfback. But it was a hard hitting game. And a lot of fun to watch. I am just glad we won now I can get on mister baby for another year. I would have gated to take a ribbing from him after a loss.

Oh, I think it was every bit as close as the score indicated and it could have gone either way.  We made some critical mistakes and so did y'all.  Don't take anything away from our kids, they all played well and showed a ton of heart.
Also, I was very pleased to see the level of sportsmanship displayed by both sides.
