He has been intentionally walked his last 9 consecutive at bats. Our coaches moved him from cleanup to 3 hole yesterday & said he may bat in the 2 hole today. He has 22 intentional walks for the season now. Thoughts?

Kid hits the ball far and hard. 1 base > 4 bases when pitching to him, especially on smaller fields.

If your lead off guy has a good OBP then second is a good place to have him. More than likely starting the game off with two men on, no outs, and pitcher is out of his rhythm having to IW someone already. Move one of your weaker bats in the 3 hole that can lay down a solid bunt and get two in scoring position with 1 out. Make them pay for putting a free run on base.

makes sense to me, sounds good

He is a big strong kid and also a good pitcher. Saw him homer against Bay drove in both of Manila runs in a 3-2 loss. He is one of 7 or 8 kids scattered around Nea that will rarely get much to hit. Even if you don't put them on they are pitched around.

Dirty dawg

Cant hit a good breaking pitch
