Season is getting closer, So does anyone want to take a shot at a Pre-season Poll.
Some very good teams in this combined conference. I haven't seen some of these teams or what they have returning , so I'll do the best I can. Best of luck to all the teams!!

I think that list would look a little bit different if they were still there.  I honestly don't know what Rivercrest has there now.  But I'm sure Coach Watson will have them competitive if nothing else.  Seems like they always are.

They won't be ranked that high I think it might be growing pains this season. Hoxie and Osceola maybe tough outs especially Hoxie.

Brookland takes first game of season at Rivercrest 41-40
Lady Bearcats went on the Road for their first game of the season last night.
The Lady colts led 5-4 after 1st qtr, Brookland led 19-11 at Half led by a strong 2nd qtr by Hannah Lovrien that knocked dn 8 points that pulled out an 19-11 half time lead.
Kalifa Ford picked up her third foul in the top of 2nd qtr and sat till 3rd where she scored most of her points.
Mallory Lovrien, Taylor Hammett, and  Emily Pate  played well for the Lady Bearcats.
Lady Bearcats played hard, and should improve every game.
Being a young team with no Sr this year, the identity is still in the making.

If you're talking about Watson from Rivercrest, she never has retired.  Been thinking about it from my understanding but hasn't stepped away before.

The game against Osceola isn't set in stone yet. If Riverside wins in the Williams Wednesday then they play Friday night, if they lose, then they will play Osceola

What that suppose to mean take a good look at your poll where you have Westside girls ranked ahead of Osceola but the Noles destroyed them by 19. You have Crest ranked above Westside but Crest lost to the Warriors lol.Maybe you should quote yourself huh!!!!! 😷😎 #any given night.

1 never left, lived in SMC District and went to Lepanto, and now is at Osceola, no school choice wasn't in the picture either, But being Osceola beat Manila I'm sure they've called AAA. I bet every school calls in on that one, due to it taking a win off their schedule!

Harrisburg 4-4 (3-0) at Brookland 4-4 (3-0)   12/12

Brookland pulled out a close one at the Paragould Shootout 55-46 11/18 with the Lady Hornets. Both teams looked Like they where feeling out their teams identity and working out the kinks per say.
Brookland looked much better the last two games, the flow and Chemistry has really improved and it showed.

Prayers go out to Hannah Lovrien , Mallory Lovrien, and Ally Loflin whose Grand pa passed away Sunday Morning ,Hannah came out on fire from long range 4-6 from deep and Mallory played very well with 3 steals and around 8 pts.
Kalifa Ford had a solid night with 22 pts.

Vornes is completely eligible without question at Osceola. I don't know how, but according to the AAA she is eligible. I know that she makes a huge difference for a team that had two good players, now has three and two or three girls who have talent but are inexperienced. After watching most of the teams outside of Trumann and Gosnell play a game, I would say Osceola has as good a chance of finishing in the top two as anybody. Riverside is clearly the best team in my mind. It should be interesting to see how it all plays out.

I can see them definitely contending for 3rd, but I would think Hoxie and riverside should be fighting it out for the top spot

I think it was the Riverside Classic not the Jennings.  I have heard that Riverside was supposed to host the girls Jennings tournament but Hoffman decided to have a Riverside Classic and cancel the jennings.
