UCA Summer Softball Camps

UCA will host three summer camps in June. 

UCA Elite Camp: June 9-11, 2014. For athletes entering the 9th grade to 12th grade.
Camp sessions will be geared toward team concepts and skills which will prepare the camper for high school softball. Campers will be divided into competitive teams which will be coached by collegiate players, former players and collegiate coaches. Campers will participate in skill sessions including hitting, pitching, catching, and positional play. Campers will participate in strength and conditioning sessions, recruiting sessions and become familiar with collegiate academic requirements. Camp staff will include UCA softball coaches, current and former UCA softball players, and select college coaches.

UCA All Skills Camp: June 11-13, 2014.  For athletes between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. The camp will focus on the development of all skills of the game. The camp staff will work with all skill levels on the development of hitting, bunting, baserunning, pitching, catching, and game competition. Also, included in this camp will be games, drills and specific position work. All campers will participate in strength and conditioning session. Camp staff will include UCA Softball coaches, current and former UCA softball players and select college coaches.

UCA Lil Bears Camp June 11-13, 2014.  For players that are 10 and under.  This camp is designed for players 10 years old and under. This camp is will cover the basic softball skills of throwing, catching, fielding, hitting and base running. The camp is a great building block for future softball players. Also, included in this camp will be camp games and activities.
