Big games next week for pangburn as the Lady Tigers travel to Tuckerman and Salem. Should be great ballgames.

Late games of Benton Tournament were rained out

Lionheart88

Indeed.  White Hall was leading Sylvan Hills after 1, but it was called due to weather.  I think the title game was supposed to be winners of NLR/Bentonville and Benton/Sheridan, but don't know how either of those turned out, much less the final, or if it was even played.

Mike Love

The Benton/Sheridan game was called due to weather, with Sheridan leading 5-1. Dont know the inning.

Foreman won hope tournament

That one surprised me.....For sure
We should have some Bville guys on here to fill us in on the TIGERS....They must be pretty salty

Lionheart88

I'm not a softball expert, but it seemed to me that the weather was really effecting the WH battery.  The game was played in an on-again-off-again drizzle, and the WH pitchers were having a hard time keeping the ball down, walked several players on and hit another, and several pitches got away from the catcher, at least 2-3 of the runs were scored by stealing home while she chased the ball down.  Didn't seem to be effecting Bentonville the same way though.

Bentonville has a very good pitcher and also start a couple of freshman (they can play!) in critical positions. Have a few holes but should make a good run in the 7A. They will get some much needed depth next season!

NEASPORTSFAN

Tuckerman walkoff double to win. Great, great ballgame, as usual between these teams. Last 4 meetings decided by 4 total runs with it split 2 games to 2.
