1: Clarendon, Kipp, Barton & Lee
2: Marked Tree, Earle, Mccrory, Epc, and cross county

I get that they 5 was split into actual different conferences of around 8.

5S and 5N are actual two different conferences

It's not unheard of for a conference to decide to divide up geographically for basketball...The 1a-3 did it last year with just 3 teams in each division.

But didn't the 1A also have to play 2A teams in the blended thing they did for a few years?  Many conferences had that going on because they AAA forced it on them.  Now that they have done away with that, I would think it would make more sense to play each other.  They really aren't that far apart compared to some of the other conferences.
