Best Defensive Minds

A lot of the spotlight is given to the offensive gurus and high-flying offenses, but I still think defense wins championships. So I was interested to see who FF identified as some of the best defensive minds in Arkansas High School Football--across all levels. Who has the best schemes and who teaches the best fundamentals? Best attitude creators?

Jason Gill is the best defensive mind in Arkansas.

In the 4A I would say it is Eldridge at Arkadelphia.

The best defense of mine goes to Ray Shimpert a long time asstant to don Campbell and Bill Riley and after Campbell became head coach just the wins didn't amount to what people though it should have been so step down but under Riley and Campbell we field some great defense football teams
