Local Flavor took over in 4th Qtr. Had 5 all game then 10 in the 4th. Jenkins hit big shots. Curry kept Goblins in it in 1st half. Marseilles always gritty. Just good win for Gobs.

Local Flavor took over in 4th Qtr. Had 5 all game then 10 in the 4th. Jenkins hit big shots. Curry kept Goblins in it in 1st half. Marseilles always gritty. Just good win for Gobs.

There was a steal - I think it was Jenkins who made it - that really seemed to turn the tide.   

On the other hand, Gob fans everywhere, please help Trevor Atwell through this difficult time as he (hopefully) searches for some footwear that doesn't supply its own blinking lights.....   

In all seriousness, really a good game and although Vilonia will feel like they let this one get away, Harrison did enough to hang in the neighborhood throughout the first half and then used the 3rd quarter to erase the halftime deficit. 

That steal by Jenkins was a nice piece of work - and a play that most fans probably didn't see unless they were watching Jenkins the entire play.  With a Vilonia Eagle dribbling Jenkins left his man, cut in the opposite direction sensing a pass coming that hadn't even been thrown yet, made the steal and the basket.

Atwell was man in 4th quarter, but you're right. Jenkins was player of the game. Don't forget his shot before halftime. This only became a mountain for the Goblins to climb because of Newell's shooting in the 1st quarter. Take Newell's shooting away, Gobs win 10+

And yeah. The Gobs footwear deserves it's own Twitter account.

In 5A Central action from Badger Sports Arena in Beebe:

Girls- Beebe 53 Pulaski Academy 39, Sophomore Katie Turner led the Lady Badgers with 17 points and 8 rebounds while Senior Gracie Anders added 12 points and 10 rebounds.  The Lady Badgers now sit at 18-4 overall and 9-0 in the conference with a 2 game lead over PA.

Boys- Pulaski Academy 59 Beebe 45, PA's Lawson Korita had 23 1st half points and 27 total as the Bruins cruised to the win.
