How are the Newport boys 2-9 this year? That team had some talent, or so I thought.

Newport honestly doesn't have a single "BASKETBALL" player. Some of their best football players make up 4 starting positions but they're just not that good of ball players. Khairan Stafford who signed to play football for Obu is the 5. He is 6'3 235 and athletic but once again he is playing college football. Carl Turner plays the 3/4 and he is just a bull in a china closet. Then DeAndre Elston and Keith Worsham play 2 of the guard spots. All worthy of plenty of football postseason awards but not in basketball. Also this team has had to go through 3 coaching changes. I will not give the details as to why they have but HFC/Ad Don Harrison has been coaching the team for the last few weeks. I don't know how much they have improved under him. But most losses under him have been single digits. I know they lost to CAC by 5-6 points, newport was 3-24 from the free throw line. Just a tough year on the hardwood for the Greyhounds.
