I wasn't there last night, I was concerned that WV might get the sweep on some away games. Glad to see the boys come through. What happened with the WV coach?

That was unexpected, any insight? IMO In another conference SH would be a regional team, but general consensus on the board is they are fighting for 6th place with a pretty big gap between 5 and 6.

The little short ref wanted to take over the game and squires didn't like it. After MVE shot the 40th free throw squires got upset. There was a shoving match between 2 players and the lil guy only T'd up the WV player. The game got out of hand and was quite embarrassing. The lil man also informed WV he would be reffing their next game at concord. He was classless. The other 2 gentlemen calling did a great job. It only takes one to change an outcome tho.

He is good, sophomore too, what happened to the ninth grader from WV that was so good last year? I didn't see him in the game or on the bench at WV earlier this year.

Do you have any stats? Wondering how many free throws MVE shot. I'm still scratching my head over the girls team. I've watched them play a lot over the years and they always fight and scrap. I thought they quit last night.

They've been a mystery to me this year too, before the break they had really started to come together, and seem to have a good chemistry, but have been cold, dropping three games since.

I was told that Sacred had their best player out with injury also. So I guess it was a wash. Tough conference for sure

I don't know anything about the boys coach getting ejected and suspended for a game. But I have been impressed with Richey this year. I was at the Two Rivers game and they just demolished them awhile back and sitting on top of this brutal conference is impressive in his first year. Seems like a good dude. He might be a little more valuable than people think from other areas.

Both teams came out hot for a quarter and a half and then Concord couldn't score. Rural Special took advantage of the scoring drought and took a 14 point lead in the 4th. Concord made a run and cut it to 6 but couldn't maintain. Real good game. The drama continues....

Timbo and MVE play Thursday, I didn't see the boys game, but I knew that it would be a tough one for us, even kind of expected a loss, our road record is not impressive. IF we beat Timbo Thursday and Guy next week and Timbo wins next week we would be tied at 13-3 in conference with MVE winning both against Timbo, but Timbo would have the better overall record. A loss in either or both for MVE means we we will be 2nd.

MVE Sr. girls won by a bunch on this one, so for MVE District is pretty much set, barring a huge upset on the girls side MVE has the #3 seed, and the boys#2 or #3, they have to beat Guy next week to shore that up.
If MVE's boys play like they did last night they might fall to the #3 seed, I only remember them hitting 1 three pointer the whole game, and I stopped counting after their fifth missed layup in the 3rd quarter. Not to take away from Timbo though, 31 and 13 are solid players.

I thought they were out of shape. They have some decent shooters, and size but couldn't handle the press.
