Saw where Bauxite was open on AAEA. Was wondering what the situation is there. Types of players, community, admin, etc. Any input would be great. Thanks

Not many "baseball first" schools in Arkansas.  But Woodlawn does seem to be one of them.

In theory, as long as Bolding's fighting termination it's still his job and they can't hire a replacement.  Who knows how long that might drag out.  Now, even if he wins he'll probably look for greener pastures, but for now it's still his job.

There were 12 at this same time last year (15 currently), and we ended up with 38 with a flurry coming late.  I thought we would be over 40 this year, but a LOT of what was being rumored during and just after the season hasn't and likely won't come to fruition. I no longer think we will get to 40, but I do think 30 is likely depending on who gets these jobs as they come open.

Looking back, it looks like it exploded mid-April last year with Chapel, Camden, and Stuttgart maybe hitting right there together. Jacksonville was early May and Shiloh late May, I think.

Would be interested to see who wants this job.  I saw that it is posted on the school website but could not find it on schoolspring.

Nevermind, thought it wasn't addressed.

Coaches with Louisiana ties to both Dumas and Marvell.

Bobby Pennington (Union Parish - Farmerville, LA) to Dumas High School.
Chris Norton (Glenbrook - Minden, LA) to Marvell High School.

Pennington is a great hire at Dumas, look for them to get competitive again quick.
