Not gonna be much smack from Warren now. Just take it easy on us Scrappers.

We will put the back ups in as soon as we get the mercy rule.

Always a dog fight between Warren and Nashville  Too much respect for each of these teams.  Good luck to both teams.  Scrappers are on a roll though.  Hard to see the Lumberjacks standing in the way.

Yeah I wasn't being serious but the way y'all talk on here I don't see how you've won a game all year.

Lol you know a few won't be able to hold back. Should be a fun week leading up to Friday. Before the trash talk let me say that there isn't a team in 4A that I have more respect for than Warren. This game is why I love high school football and there won't be a better place to be next Friday night than Warren, Arkansas.

You should see us play sometimes. Jekyll and Hyde. In all seriousness we will be okay. I think that bye messed with us a good bit and Pottsville's style of play ALWAYS gives us fits. Once again Warren found a way to get a win while fighting through adversity. We may have been looking ahead to next week some too. However, hats off to Pottsville dang good team and I definitely see how they took down Robinson.

Let me regain my composure after this tonight. Dear Lord.....

Nothing better than Warren vs Nashville. I'll leave it at that for tonight.

Congrats to both teams for advancing.

I was man.  The nightmare scenario was Pottsville getting the last possession and it happened. Sometimes it takes luck.

I hate playing teams like FL, booneville, and now Pottsville.

Warren had our Fountain Lake game tonight. I'm hoping we don't have our first mercy rule next week.

Lol I see your point. Technically we mercy ruled Hmaburg since we did put it in effect against them even though the final score says otherwise.

I think he is implying us getting mercy ruled for the second time this year.   Bo is going to have to get a whole lot of players healed up this week.  Man we had players limping and hobbling all over the field.  Snell is going to eat us up on the outside if we can't get better leverage than what I saw tonight.  Hopefully it was just a bad matchup for us physically and maybe we match up better with Nashville.   I won't say we can't win because this team has won games this year that seemed to defy logic.   I will be there cheering them on and no matter what happens next Friday, this team has earned my respect in how they have competed this year through all the adversity of the injuries and youthfulness.   Great job again Jacks.  You made the play you had to make to win the game and that is all that really matters.  Now lets go out next Friday and shock the Scrappers!

Yes Nashville matches up better for us. We are built to play best against spread teams.

Don't say that just yet. We are a power running team out of multiple formations. Tonight for example we used double tight ends, two back sets, fullback with a tight end, etc. We are going to run right at you with a physical brand of football.

One question.  Will this game be worth the drive down from Booneville for me?

Should be for atmosphere alone.

Warren and Nashville is like two superpowers going head to head. Its like When Alabama and Florida play in the SEC Championship or Duke and Kentucky play in basketball. Its going to be a fun week.

OLDSCHOOL82

I'm gonna give warren a pass after rd 2.  I didn't see that coming.  Pottsville had nothing to lose but bring all they had.  No one expected the score to even be close.  Warren a buy week and maybe overlooking round 2 to round 3 can hurt you.  Anyways, no predictions from me yet for this game.  Gotta do a bit of research.

Bo Hembree deserves a raise after this season

LAfootball fan

If Warren was 100% healthy, I don't believe this game would have been this close but I will say this, Pottsville played a heckuva game and is one heckuva team.   They proved to me that they are well coached and know how to play with heart and effort.  Luck just went Warren's way at the end.

I know for a fact we are more limited in what we can do offensively than most people realize due to the injuries.   Bo really has coached above and beyond this year in keeping this team rolling along and winning.  Getting this far at 10-1 is way more than anyone predicted before this season started.   I can promise you that nobody would have believed you if you were told before the season that Warren would have to depend on two true 9th graders to make critical plays at such critical positions.  Add in you lose your best senior and probably best overall player on the team halfway through the season to go along with several more lineman and I cannot believe they are where they are right now.  This team just has a winning attitude about them and just keeps making plays from the most unlikely players every week.  Couldn't be more proud of a team that has fought through so much adversity and lack of experience this year.   I have no doubt they will do their best to beat Nashville next Friday and if they do I would not be the least bit surprised.

Big Time

Wow can't believe it's been over a decade that I've been a member of this board. I haven't posted or logged in for that matter in over 3 years. Buuuuut I actually happen to be living in Monticello as of last week. Couldn't have been more happy to find out my scrapers are going to be travelling to Warren and going to stomp there orange heads in the mud. It'll be fun.

Last time I was in Warren they considered it revenge for them. We as a team considered it revenge for us. Revenge for not winning the state championship game the year prior by 4+ scores like we should have.

We took care of bussines the second time around in Warren though. It will be the same this time as well.
