Also Zaine Holley from Pea Ridge, probably one of the more underrated backs in the 4a. 30 TDs with over 1,700 yards. Great stats..
The kid is pretty good but there is a lot of kids that can put up those stats with the amount of carries that kid got... I personally think Faulk from PG is underrated, runs harder than anyone I've seen this year.

funny how thats the argument for Gravette fans now, when others said the same thing about Strzelecki back in 2011-12 and Lion fans would get all salty about it

Well when Zaine Holley played my team he touched the ball like 30 times for 70 yards or so!

No way!

You'd think that game was like the super bowl for y'all with as much as you like going back and referencing it and the team dancing on the Blackhawk logo at midfield while the band was trying to perform their halftime performance after the game.

How many carries did the Gosnell kid have? Those are crazy numbers.

He had right at 200 carries on the season.
11.7 yards per carry. These may not be official numbers just going by what's in the newspaper.

From the Blytheville newspaper:

Blackman finished with 2,365 yards with 34 rushing touchdowns. He finished with 38 total touchdowns. He is currently third in the state and first in the 4A in rushing yards. He finished with 269 points scored which, if official, is a state record. The previous mark of 266 was held by Steven Kehner of Glen Rose in 2010. He scored 48 points against Lonoke which tied a state record held by Alvin Bell of Little Rock set in 1919. Against Harrisburg, he rushed for a 97 yard touchdown which is the second longest touchdown run recorded in state history.

Gosnell has an awesome running back? Not surprised.

I remember kids in 2002 with the last names Anderson, Blount, and Ross running wild on Warren in the playoffs. Heck of a game.

If Blackman scored 38 TD's, that equals 228 pts., you're missing 41pts. somewhere! Actually Craig Jackson scored 45 TD's plus 2- 2 pts conversion's in 1995 for 274 pts. for Carlilse in 1995 . The AAA records are wrong!

Craig's 45 TD's alone equals 270 pts, so Blackman s still shy of the record!

Craig had a great season that yr. I think he broke Billy Hicks of Pine Bluff record for total TD's. AAA need to up date records and do a better job in record keeping!
Corrected, my bad!

It's up to the school/ coaches to report his official stats to the AAA. They have to fill out paperwork and send it in.

according to AAA record books updated 2014-15, he broke Billy Hicks of PB rushing td's in season, I would assume this is accurate 70 years in between
