I don't think he will have anything to say after the Jacks get through with the billies beat down

You don't know what you're talking about.

Yeah but they'll still be considered a top team either way. Malvern will probably finish 4th in the 7-4A now assuming they lose to Nashville and Fountain Lake.

Someone sure thinks alot of the 4-4a?....I think the strongest besides the 8, would be the 7.

It's a pretty much general consensus at this point that the top 3 teams are Dardanelle, PR, and Nashville in any order. 4-4A won the state championship in 2013 and had a state semi finalist last year plus they were the second best team in the state. They've proven they can play.

AirWarren

It should stay strong as well with the addition of booneville back to 4a next year.

Dover could cause people some problems this year and Pottsville is usually salty too. 4-4A will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Romeo

I neverstood doing a super six. It seems like the lazy way of not doing a top ten.

Didn't think of all that.....yes they are proven....sure thought we should have beaten Dard last year...We really had the momentum in first half......but man that qb was tough!

Tonight pretty much clinches our 21st consecutive playoff appearance. We've been in the playoffs each year since 1995.

Can't beat that. That was a typical Warren/Monticello game. Minus the chippiness.

LJ06

Playoffs are secured. Warren is guaranteed at least a 5-2 finish.

Losing one of your best receivers has dropped the passing down substantly.

Yes it has. Starting to think Hargis masked a mediocre passing game to begin with. Our receivers are dropping a lot of passes.

Romeo

I think your right LJ06. Hargis was counted on for those 3rd and long and big passing plays when we needed it. I think we would have had a hard time even scoring against PA without him. I'm not saying our receivers are lost without him, but you can certainly tell the difference in our offense without Hargis.

And it's a huge difference. Daniels can't do it all by himself. As great as he has been this season, the passing game will have to start producing if Warren wants to have any kind of run in the playoffs this year.

Proud Buckaroo

Daniel's is a beast. He gets his own. But, looking at stats. What happens if he gets injuried? I wouldn't ever wish that on him. I know you have a quality back up. Because I say him run a few times to give daniel's a break against smackover.

We lose Daniels and its worst case scenario for us. Our offense sputters something awful without him. Star City for example.

Romeo

Losing Hargis: quarterfinals or second round
Losing Daniels: first round exit

Warren will be ok guys they just played a little flat but if we all were honest they have exceeded all of our expectations, because I didn't see them being undefeated in conference this far in but never underestimate the heart of these young men they want to do some special things this year. The biggest problem I see with us wrapping up tackles if we do that then we should do fine. Going to be a tough one Friday though.

At this point I really think Warren could make it back to WMS

You also thought SC was going 10-0....
you also thought Stuttgart was a machine

Nope, I never said that. You should pay attention a little closer.

KASH dba The Lumberjack

I was told by the Jack Faithful on this thread a few days ago we could win State with fewer players than we have, where is all that confidence now?
As far as Daniels going down, you move McKnight to RB, and swap Curry and Kinnard in at receiver.

We kinda did for the Monticello game. Even though he played, I would say he was only 70% because of the stomach bug he had. What would y'all say LJ, AW and SJ45? 70% healthy, more or less? He didn't break tackles like he normally does and he really didn't have that burst he normally does either.

Romeo

Prior to 2001, only one conference championship in the last 38 years (1963). Since 2001, 12 conference championships.

Hey KASH, confidence is back. 35-7!

AirWarren

I'm going to give some praise too because I don't think he gets enough. But coach watkins has been a PHENOMINAL asset to the lumberjack coaching staff. Since he has been at Warren, he has had us prepared. He is an exceptional defensive coach. Thanks for the hard work coach! Glad to have you in Warren!

We are still a lethal team even with injuries.  We have a bye week and some time to get some guys rested.  We sure needed it and hopefully will get some linemen back.

LJ06

Pretty excited for the second round matchup.  I've been wanting to play both Highland and Pottsville for sometime now and we will get one or the other.
