WM folks were not on here thumpin their chest this year. Dr. Phil did have some success last year. He told us that until we get a new offensive coordinator to not expect too much and to remember winning the 6A east as a 7A team is not that big of a deal.

yea and it's just sickening. undefeated at home in the playoffs and we've got people in the stands whistling about how good the chicago transfer looked. got the pa announcer bringing up a meaningless game at the "lehr area" while we're down 16-8 just sickening, might as well be the duke blue devils....

Alumni has a lot of clout...especially when it comes to seeking a championship.

It was alumni that applied the pressure for change in 07....we got Scott Reed.

You see what happened....of course we had back-to-back 3-7 seasons that brought that on....so yall's wasn't extreme as ours....

far as i can tell the "alumni" here doesn't give a flying you know what about football, had one booster tell me he couldn't figure out why i complained so much and that i should be thrilled at the 1200 yd pass stat this year....

i've done about all i'm going to do and honestly it's not much more that i can do either...

I remember that game, I was on the other end of the stadium when the radio chatter started about you.  something about not being able to hear the band over you. 

I agree, Reed made this turnaround for you, I think if Gray were still there you would have been 5-5 this year and worse last year.

Still don't like what happened to coach Derrill Smith tho.

wasn't there day one but I agree the pressure was on him, noone seemed to notice the great performances from 5 or six other teams that year including 2 state tennis championships and the first medal in the pool in 27 years.  with the new AD both of those coaches are gone and have had two replacements since.

I was told the Boys and Girls Club had a grant and were putting $200,000 in it, the community college was putting $200,000 in it, and the school the rest. Seems like you'll be hosting soccer games on Saturdays, not a bad trade off. This could all be bs as one of your coaches told one of ours.

if a coach mentioned that it probably has some sort of merit to it. whether it generates into reality can prove to take on a different entity itself. seems some things we just have a harder time on putting the lid down on around here...
