Wes McCrotty to Dover.
You sure about this.  I talked to him a couple weeks ago and he stated he was not going to Dover.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time the social media folk at the Courier were wrong.

Gray lizard

That is exactly what it says. Sorry just shocked me as it came direct from him.  I see he was named athletic director as well.  Pay bump I am sure.  Good for him.  He is a good guy and I am sure he wanted to get past this season before making the change known.

I think Sloan Hendrix softball. He's cutting down on driving time to school and his wife works in Imboden I believe.

Dover announced it on its Facebook page, and Pottsville has posted its vacancy on the AAA bulletin board.

Carlisle really needs to get this one right. Lots of talented kids in place and coming up in the very near future. The next coach has championship  caliber teams for the next several years

Just added Nettleton to the list. That job should draw a lot of interest. I would imagine Nettleton has a shortlist and has reached out to people already.

Carlisle had a good crew coming in the 9th or 10th grade, but they did not have enough to field a 13-15 team this year.

At that age they are probably all playing travel ball , especially the ones that are serious about it. League teams are a dying breed,  sad to say.

No travel ball.  One is playing in Lonoke and two are in England.

Carlisle can't keep coaches; I saw where y'all just lost another football/softball coach—what's the deal?

That is a good pick up. A little surprising. The Brookland job should get some good interest.

Pantherdaddy

just seems Brookland would be a better job..growing school and all.
