Yeah, outscoring them 143-7 the last four years took care of that. They have fallen on hard times. We needed a step up in competition anyhow.

Camden Fairview will likely be our opener until the end of time. Great for gate purposes, as it is a packed house every year, but we have pounded them three years straight too. Last game that was close was a 31-27 El Do win in 2008. Since then, it has been 30-14, 44-14, and 42-28 (it wasn't that close).

I want us to go down into Louisiana and get West Monroe, Evangel, someone like that. Beat one of those type teams and you get a little national recognition. Those would be great games and not a long bus ride either.

We almost had a home and home with Evangel in 2010-11, but they backed out, for whatever reason. That would have been cool.

It's understandable that Evangel would backdown from El Dorado - that's not the kind of National Recognition they want.  I called my home boys, back in Tyler, and they were asking about the State Champ, El Dorado Wildcats.  Wanted to know if I'd ever seen them play.  With a little recognition, ED could bring Arkansas to the top of the Football World.

I think those first three games are going to change because of Texas High and re-alignment. I think 8/31 is now Texas High, L-E is still on the 14th, but as of right now I don't know who the Razorbacks are going to play on the 7th.

They had to. Because of realignment in Texas, the only date Texas High was able to play AHS was Aug. 31. And nobody in Texarkana wants to see that rivalry game go away.

WC now plays Siloam Springs in Fayetteville (Razorback Stadium) as part of Hooten's Kick Off classic.

El Dorado also played a few teams out of Lousiana and played SouthHaven, Mississppi in 2002. It comes to show you how much this guy really knows about the program at El Dorado. The only thing this guy has proved to everybody is how stupid he really is.

Hope might have the toughest in 5A. Nashville, Ashdown, Prescott, DeQueen, Watson Chapel, White Hall, HS Lakeside, Camden Fairview, "HOT SPRINGS, and Magnolia....   Hot Springs won't be a push over this year.

This game is needed every year.  I would be really upset along with any other former Razorback player if they get rid of this game.  I am in favor of not playing them for a 2 year cycle depending on the outcome Friday.
