Multiple. They will go mostly I formation, trips and twins. They are going to try to establish a run game to open up some easy passing opportunities. Their running back is pretty good. They are going to have a hard time stopping the Batey kid though.

I say every time.  Salem will not be a easy go for foreman.  We play hard and we leave it all on the field.  It's gonna be a long trip down there.

This whole situation is unbelievable... the kid in question is not even on the roster or any highlight clips on max preps... this definitely falls on the head coach and he should be held accountable... as far as Salem congratulations on being in the semifinals but your reward is as about as long a trip as one can make and at the end of that rainbow is no gold but hungry gators.

No it wouldn't. Only way to make it "right" would be to go back and replay the whole season, but that is not possible or feasible. It makes alot more sense to have Salem play vs Foreman or give Foreman a bye. You can't go back to first/ second round games now and say what if. It would change the whole bracket and teams from that conference and their seating.

I would like to know exactly the date AAA was notified of Earle's "Oversight" of the rules.  If it was the week after Salem was beaten by Earle, I can understand Salem playing.  If it was the week after Mineral was beaten by Earle, Mineral should get the nod to play Salem.

Everyone has been beaten by a LEGAL team but Mineral.  Mineral should play Salem to move on to the next round.  AAA is sayin no prep time or recovery for the teams.  You moved the games already.  That decision should be the two affected teams.  Mineral is prepared to fight it if they cant provide a policy or a rule to back up the ruling.

Anyone that played Earle thru the season or postseason played an "illegal" team, thus if you start it would go back to the start of the season.

I have a feeling this may force the AAA to just give Foreman a bye if multiple teams try to get back into the bracket.

They will not extend the playoffs longer than another week. Things like this have happened before.

Move on MS.

It's almost as if some folks are happy this happened so they can try and get another chance.

But yeah let's rush kids back on to the field and then have them play another game 4 days later. Are you really giving kids a FAIR shot by doing that.

File your injunctions and try and hold things up. Then AAA will just say tough luck give Foreman a bye and everybody will stay home.

It's not just the playoff teams that were affected. It wasn't just YOUR team. 8 other teams were affected by this and Salem twice

You play the season to get to the playoffs and SEEDING. This affected the entire season.

Face it you guys are screaming fairness. But you only think it's fair if you benefit from it.

Fair is fair and there is nothing that will happen in this that will be fair

Should have clarified. There have been delays before in the playoffs. And AAA has proven that they move quickly on these things. This won't drag out unless folks can afford some really good lawyers.

Couch-coach, you and I know that the people in Foreman are as excited about football right now as they have ever been since the school was opened!! In my lifetime their has never been a bigger football game played in Foreman than the one Friday night and I know for a fact those kids are pumped about it and are ready to play!!! They have their eye on the ULTIMATE prize but they also know that Salem stands in the way for that opportunity to play for that prize!! They are NOT being overlooked and the Gators will be ready!! Coach King won't allow them to overlook Salem or allow any type of a distraction!!

They are hungry and are chomping at the bits for Friday night to get here!!

They are hungry and are chomping at the bits for Friday night to get here!!

No doubt about it but Im ready too know who we play and where and just get on with it ... Does anyone know when the injunction will be dealt with??

I guess I'm missing some information. I know there are reports from other sources and comments on here about them going to file an injunction but if they forfeited their season on their own (supposedly not imposed by AAA) then by admission they were doing something wrong. So I don't see how they would be successful with an injunction, even if they did filed one. But hey, what do I know, I'm not a lawyer....

There is no pressure on Foreman!! This team has gone further than any other team from Foreman has ever gone so anything from here on out is just extra. But nice try in deflecting though!!

Say what you want to say to make yourself feel good about coming down here and getting a "W" but you guys are sorely mistaken if you think Foreman is overlooking you guys!!! Although, I really hope that you guys go down there as if they're just going to lay down for you!! That would be a monumental mistake!!

Go Gators!!!!

They won't be checking anything at halftime..... There will be silence from Foreman Fans.  Even Earle didn't have us beat at halftime.  Just that comment makes me think Foreman will under estimate Salem ability.  Thats ok thats how we roll.  Our boys have been hearing all this crap starting last week..... "Who cares Salem just a 5 seed", "what a waste ya'll coming down here", "Salem doesn't deserve to be there", "Foreman should have just been advanced to the finals".  I'm gonna say these boys will be fired up.

I would rather see Earle advance and really didn't expect this. But for those teams it gives them another chance with Earle out of the picture, hopefully they take advantage of it because Earle would be a problem.

I just stated that the game will not be over by halftime.  Usually the team that should win and isn't winning during the game it becomes pretty quiet on updates to the forum.  I didn't say foreman was talking trash  just what has been said in this forum.  Don't care who said it.  It's us against everyone it seems.  So I hope that's  the mentality our boys have.

Sorry meant to go back to answer but I had to go over to hogville to see if Arkansas screwed up again and hired Morris.  So to answer your question,  they are leaving 8 Friday morning,  driving halfway on there regular ball bus,  practicing at someone's  field(not sure whose field yet). After that they will grab lunch and then head on the foreman. That's what I have been told but I also been told by half the state of Arkansas that Gus Malzahn would be the next hog coach.  So I can pass on what my source said was the plan.

Only way I see it possible would be a school from extreme NWA playing an extreme SEA school.  Example, Gravette to Eudora is 5 hours 44 minutes 373 miles, and I doubt That's ever happened.

This is a catch game for the Gators. I think we all know even including the Greyhound faithful that on paper this game is already decided. That is the biggest hurdle Foreman will have to leap. We all also know that games are played on the field not on paper. With all the stink that has been stirred it is going to be tough for either team to be 100 percent focused. One team prepared for a totally different opponent while the other had put their pads away for the season. Salem can come into the game with absolutely nothing to lose. They have been given a second opportunity to play in a game that they are not supposed to win. No doubt, Salem has played the underdog role well advancing to the quarterfinals as a five seed and playing Earle tough at Earle. They are indeed dangerous. I wonder what the mentality is of the team? Having already played their last game. Seniors suffering the heartbreak of their high school football season being over. Will the coach be able to get the troops to rally one more time? Or will they simply be carrying out the motions? I can see it from both angles a new breath of fresh air or possibly playing to protect your feelings rather than for a win. The key for Foreman is to be focused on the task at hand and not get caught up in all the hoopla of what went on last week and what could go on next week. If they do that I'll take the Gators by 21. But if they do not Salem is without a doubt good enough to pull off the upset.

Ghost, I try to ignore you and your comments because you are obviously a little 13 year old kid or a retarded adult who lacks the ability to have an intellectual conversation without resulting in name calling and insulting comments!!!

Based on our last argument and the comments you have made in the past your a Mt Ida poster who likes to get onto Foreman threads and make condescending and belittling comments to the Foreman posters. That is the same thing that you did when Foreman & Mt Ida were about to play a month or so back. So you are either so threatened by the Foreman team that you feel that you have to constantly berate them to make yourself feel good or you truly lack the confidence in your own team to just simply state that you think your team is better and let it go. You have to insult the other teams and posters.

So here is some advice: grow up and quit acting like a little whiny little girl (which I doubt you possess the ability to do) or stop posting on the Foreman threads!!!

Ok, now I'm through ranting. I let you take me there again.....

Yes, Mt Ida is a VERY good football team and whoever plays them whether it be CHG, Salem or Foreman will need to have all of their ducks in a row and play a solid game to beat them but surely your not so arrogant and naïve to think that someone is afraid of you guys, right?

Foreman had no say in who was to play them.  Even if foreman would have said that it wouldn't matter.  Rule is in place for the exact scenario.

No, our visitor bleachers aren't the best but I have been to others that are a lot worse. I think they are a little bigger than what other places have. Also, I am hearing rumors of tailgating going on for this game so I expect a great atmosphere. It will be the biggest game that's ever been played in Foreman so I expect a HUGE HUGE crowd!!

I cant believe this hasn't been brought up. Is Salem the first 5 seed to make it to the Semi-Finals ? Wishing safe travels to both the Greyhounds and their fans.

Wasn't Strong a 5 seed a few years back that made it?

If you are referring to their championship season I believe they were a 3 seed behind JC and Bearden. None the less Salem making it this far certainly gives some credit to taking five teams out of each conference. Which has been something I have argued against on multiple occasions.

We pulled a pretty good upset last year as a five seed last year also.

You guys wasn't a 5 seed last year I don't think. You McCrory and I know they didn't win that conference last year England did.

So the Dump was wondering if Salem fans are really excited for this game after being able to re-enter the playoffs?  Situation kind of sucks overall.  I hate to see them lose 2 games in the playoffs, but I gotta go with Foreman in this one...dump out

As bad as foreman getting whooped they should've just forfeited and let the championship game be played tomorrow night instead of waiting a extra week

Y'all had great atmosphere.  Players got a little chippy(both sides)at the end but heck it's football.  emotions run high. Everyone calmed down pretty quick. Stands were packed on both sides.  Good luck against Mt Ida.
