Who has the #1 player in 4A regardless of position.

Nashville likely has has the best wr.

VERY likely also have the best sophomore rb and sophomore lineman in the state regardless of classification.

armchajrhog5

The QB for Dardanelle is a great one

He's a QB and RB wrapped into one.  He's a bulldozer that will lay a hit on ya!

STUNNA

I'll take the rb from warren over any in 4a... Pettway/ Stewart/ brown/ Marshall all have to be in consideration of best Wr... Lafoy smith  from Warren is a beast

phdefense

For me it's a toss up between Cox of Warren and Turner of Newport. They are pretty much interchangeable. They have in my opinion the most impressive careers of all those playing in the 4A.

Completely forgot abt turner. I believe he is a 4 year started just like cox from Warren.... Would like to see both of there career stats if anyone has them

If Turner plays next year he will be a 4 year starter. This is his junior year and I believe I saw that he was approaching or had already broke 4,000 yards rushing.

Probably fastest is Dardanelle running back, i think his name is TJTucker if not mistaken

He must be really fast. According to this video Turner of Newport ran a 4.4 as a freshman. So if Dardanelle's guy is faster he must be a dandy.

whippersnapper

Carl Turner is at 4167 career rushing yards right now. Not sure of TDs and averages yet. I plan on trying to get them all together at the end of the season.

Good deal.. I would imagine cox is close to being the all time leading rusher at warren.

He's very quick, but looking at pure breakaway speed I'm betting there are RB's faster than him in 4A.

Yes he is.  When it is all said and done, Kilay Cox will be the best running back to come through Warren.  Thats saying something right there.

Haven't heard.  His size will keep a lot of colleges away which is sad.

What is he about 5-8 160?  Is he a 4.6 guy?

AirWarren

Think he is in the 5'9 175 range. I think he is a 4.6 guy, but he  blew away from those "speed" hamburg guys like they were sitting still. He has excellent game speed when he is on the field.

whippersnapper

With Turners size and toughness I could really see him as a SEC fullback. Aruguably the hounds best formation is the I formation with him at fullback and Elston at the halfback, almost always getting positive yards.

AirWarren

I would love to see Kilay in the I with a huge fullback.

Both kids have great vision.

STUNNA

Kilay plays a lot bigger than his size. Definitely not scared of contact

And that's why (presumably) no college offers so far. Good high school running back, but undersized and not a speed burner.

Just watched the film posted above, he looks every bit of 200+ but he also looks kinda tall.

Carl is right around 5'9 220. And when you look at him in normal clothes you can see where he probably isn't done growing.

Highlands has a duo, Deon Stewart and Avery Johnson. Not saying they are the best but probably Rank them Up there. Below is Stewart Junior year Highlights. Ill find some Johnson ones and post later.

Tucker is very quick but the fastest would be Junior Chris Kershner who ran a laser time this summer of 4.38.

Isn't he a junior? I would have to see that laser time on paper to believe that...

StevenGlen

Can I put in a vote for Witt at Dardanelle?  He is a major contributor on both sides of the ball for the undefeated Sandlizards.  I believe he has attracted interest by D1 schools as both a tight end and on defense.  Their QB and TB both are flashier and have bigger stats, but if I could pick one player for my team it would be Witt.

Yes he is a junior. Word is he ran sub 4.4 at a camp this summer, I never asked if it was laser or hand held. Either way, he can fly. He and the Hammonds kid from PR have the top wheels in the 4-4A IMO.

You don't have to play offense to be the best player.  Don't forget about Emmanuel Cooper of Arkadelphia.  He had over 100 tackes, 37 TFL's and 22 sacks last year as a DT.  Not sure about his stats this year.

He is a TE that plays for Dumas... Of course you aren't going to be blown away when you watch him play for them. With that size, speed, and hands he has a chance to be a very good SEC TE. Physically ready to contribute at Arkansas next year.
