Booneville @ Lamar
This game is for the conference title and 1 seed and home field in the playoffs. Big stakes! On paper it looks like a great game.

West Fork @ Charleston
Not much here, West Fork got their first win. Which Charleston team show's up? Charleston big in this one.

Greenland @ Paris
Greenland slings it all over the field and wins big.

Mansfield @ Cedarville
Think this will be a good game. Cedarville is tough especially at home. Should be close.

Mansfield had back-to-back tough losses. They are going to want to get back some of their own. I'll go with the Tigers.

CoolBreeze

Will Mansfield be able to shake off two consecutive disappointing losses and avoid making it three in a row.

That will depend on whether or not the Mansfield OC sticks with trying to run the ball too often with a buck sixty HB, end arounds and the quick pass out in the flat, or chooses to go to a more vertical passing game, which dang sure would have helped this past Friday! Inside the red zone TWICE by passing and both times he elected to run. On the first series he tried a sweep, resulting in said HB fumbling. And on the other our QB completes a pass down to the Lamar 5 yard line, resulting in a first and goal and four straight runs later he's at the 2-3 yard line, Lamars ball first and 10. Our kids played well enough to win, but our play calling killed our opportunities. Hopefully something changes this week.

A few more thoughts on week 9.

Charleston is in a must win this week in order to secure a playoff spot. If by any chance they get upset then they would have to beat Lamar on the road to get in.

Now that being said, in order for that to happen Cedarville would have to upset Mansfield. Strange things have happened before. So Charleston don't sleep on this week's game.

Should be able to beat West Fork with only one eye open.
