I predict Bay girls, after not playing for over half the year, will make the state tournament. A couple of solid 9th graders moved up with the Ferguson girl will improve them substantially. Just an opinion.

I'm no expert on this conference but have seen the Bay junior girls a couple of times. I have also seen Ferguson and she is a player. I expect Bay to win district and Be a +1 seed at Hillcrest.

JONESBORO — Tyler Pritchett scored 24 points and Colton Watson added 16 Saturday
as Bay cruised into the 1A-3 East boys' district tournament final with an 88-39 victory over host Ridgefield Christian.
Taylor Layne added 16 in the win for Bay, which led 25-16 after one quarter,
53-36 at the half and 75-38 going into the fourth.
Wyatt Morris led Ridgefield with 10 points.
In the other senior boys' semifinal Hughes beat Armorel 70-64. Nash Winters led Armorel with 22 points.
In the senior girls' bracket Bay clinched a berth in the district title game with a 72-35 win over Maynard.
Katie Ferguson led Bay with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Sarah Blackmon added 22 and Bailee Bowers scored 10.
Brittanie Cline led Maynard with 16 points.
Bay will face Armorel, who beat Hughes 57-34 Saturday, in the girls' district title game.
Amanda Skelton led Armorel with 19 points.
