I have no complaints with the rankings in any class. It seems like the Demozette put a lot more effort into rankings this year and I would like to commend them for a job well done

I mean, I have watched a few games from the 2 north conference and it seems like that conference is nothing like it has been the last 5 or 6 years. Bay is still a quality team but there conference is also down I believe. Is everyone young? Or is the competition just not what it used to be?

I thought Concord had a good Class  A team last year-obvious because they won the state.  No one that i have seen this year is close to them-I have not seen Bay-I think A is down, and AAA is definitely down, at least what i have seen.

They are crazy athletic but very hit or miss. They play us close one game and the next one we may mercy rule them...One thing though, never sleep on them.

Scranton girls just beat mulberry though...and have a win over wonderview on their resume...but then again Zimmerman sat out that game

4A Rankings --- Riverview boys too high / Riverview girls too low. Have seen Pokey & Riverview boys multiple times & would take Pokey by 6-10. They're too big/good down low & can match RV's guards quickness out front. I'd switch them.

All I'm saying is a 20-5 record is worth something.  4 of the 5 losses have come to 2 3A schools(Lamar twice and birgman) and 1 4A school(perryville). The 5th loss was to acorn at acorn and it was close. 10 maybe. I'd say that's pretty good. Yes I'm from Scranton, but I'm not gonna be partial to them. They can compete. They got Kingston Tuesday. Having watched Kingston last week(I think it was), the win tonight isn't as impressive as it would have been a month or so a go, they look like they lost something since the beat Wonderview....And beating Wonderview without Zimmerman, is IMO not that impressive...She makes them go, and is their best defensive player, and it's not close..

I'll admit I'm leery of listing Scranton as a contender because the last few years they've piled up impressive records and then been exposed as pretenders at region and state...(Didn't they miss state last year after being undefeated through 20+ games???)

No they weren't undefeated after 20 games last season. They had an average year last year and were not very good. However, with the coaching change this year I feel like they are a better team and completely different from what they were in the past.

Oh okay. I knew Wonderview won this past week but I thought Nemo beat them in a regular game and in a tournament. I still think Nemo will win the championship. I haven't seen Kirby play but they play our girls tomorrow. If they're the real deal they should beat our girls by 50+.. Which I think may be close to how much they beat us the first time. I know our girls had something like 50 turnovers

Final score was 44-39. Wonderview led pretty handily throughout the game. Chase Paladino hit 3 pointer with like 2 seconds left to put Nemo within 5 and keep them in the running to outright win conference.  Wonderview was prepared and played a very good game. Looking forward to tournaments coming up.
