I know Pokey's Jr. High played Nettleton to open the season.  How did the Jr. Raiders look?  Annie Camp has them at home tonight.

The offense scores at will. The defense is really tough. The kicker impressed me as well. Only missed after he scored a 60 yard touchdown run which is understandable.

PJHS 50 Harrisburg 6
Final
The Skins could have put up as many as they wanted in this one. Decided to take a knee in the 4th to run it out.

PJHS travels to Cave City this week which I assume will be nothing less than a blow out.

PJHS 38-16 over Cave City.  PJHS 7-0   Jr. Skins are on a good roll.  Gosnell next week at Gosnell then Highland at home to end the season.  The last two games are probably going to be the closest scoring games of the season.

Pocahontas has been doing very good with the new coaching system.  I like the idea behind it and I think it will be much easier for the freshmen moving up because they are already familiar with Coach Baty's style of play and he is familiar with the strength and weaknesses of players moving into the high school program.  I see it as a win-win situation.

If Pocahontas wins, they clinch the 4A-3 conference championship.

Any chance the QB was a Freshman? If not, does he get moved up next year?

Believe he was just an 8th grader, but he will be a heck of QB in the years to come get ready.
