Title: R-E-T-I-R-E-M-E-N-T
Post by: WCD on April 13, 2016, 04:36:09 pm
Well, it's the end of the 2nd full week of my retirement and it wasn't what I thought it would be!!!! Yes, that's right!

It's BETTER than I ever hoped it would be! I recommend retirement to anyone who is wavering on whether or not to do it! I am busy when I want to be and can relax when I want to relax. I have been preparing my house for it to be sold and moving furniture to my soon to be new home!

There is a quote from Shawshank Redemption that says, "You better get busy living or get busy dying!" I chose the first option and it is awesome!

I'm getting the house ready to sell and once it is sold I will use the proceeds to buy the 3500 Dodge Ram truck and Jayco 5th Wheel. The routes for the first two trips have been laid out and they are 4500 mile (east coast) and 7500 miles (west coast) each.

There are a lot of places to see in this great land and I plan (Lord willing) to see as much as I can.

Congratulations on the retirement. I have been retired for 2 years now and haven't looked back. Like you say you can make your daily schedule as you want it. It's awesome to be able to see this beautiful country
