no doubt its the 7-4a followed by the 4-4a then 8 and 1 still a tossup and the 3 and 2 bring up the rear. As i suspected all year when the goobs were saying it, there wont be an all 8 final

Jack1990

Knew the 7 was going to be tough. Didn't think we (the 8) would lose 3 out of 4 games tonight. The Dollarway loss was a shocker.

cuckoobird

Well the good thing about is there wont be a tie with the 8 and 1 since they play head to head

SKEK09

everyone last week continued to talk about how "weak" the 4-4a is. anyone saying that now after Dardanelle & Clinton win tonight?

Blazer51

I the the 3 has come a long ways in the past couple years with 2 of the teams losing in very close games!

Seems like we hear that every year, maybe one of these days you'll be right.

Maybe, maybe not, only time will tell.  One thing for certain as far as this subject goes, 2-4A is right there with 3-4A for weakest conference.

This year you are correct. I've never claimed otherwise.

Didn't say you did, just replying to the subject of this thread.

Mulerider

How bad one must be to play in the weakest conference in all of 4A and still not be able to make the playoffs. The 2 is very bottom heavy.

Now that was a low blow!

Always going to be haters for the title bearing teams. Well the one with the most titles anyway

Eh, would have lost early in the playoffs this year anyway.

Deniers historically refer to truth as hate.

Considering that only one of the teams still alive will come out of the playoffs without losing, that's a pretty safe bet.

Maumelle Hornets10-1-1 (7-0)
09-05 at Jacksonville W, 9 - 7
09-12 at North Pulaski W, 39 - 0
09-19 Fountain Lake T, 6 - 6
09-26 at Harrison W, 27 - 14
10-03 Clarksville W, 44 - 7
10-10 at Greenbrier W, 34 - 20
10-17 Vilonia W, 45 - 21
10-24 at Morrilton W, 19 - 7
10-31 Farmington W, 24 - 7
11-07 Little Rock Christian W, 35 - 30
11-14 vs. White Hall W, 24 - 21
11-21 vs. Wynne L, 17 - 27

Just another example of why the 4A-7 is tops. The lowest seed Fountain Lake  tied a good 5A school that were confrence champions and did ok in the playoffs.

Lionheart88

Maumelle were slow starters.  Had FL played them in conference they'd have gotten crushed.  Jacksonville's the same way.  Maumelle barely beat them, while LRCA beat Jax 38-10.  Come conference time, Maumelle beat the Warriors.

Gosnell held Arkadelphia to just 7 points so what does that say about the 3-4a?
