None of those things mean they want it more.  It means they are healthy and playing well.  Every team wants it and probably equally, even the teams that didn't make the playoffs.  I know Star City is playing well right now and I think this game will be close.

He's right CP. He has probably watched SC play multiple times this year and knows exactly what Mena is going to do to stop us.  Mena  must be the best defense we will have faced all year because I don't remember a game where we scored 10 or less. But hey I have figured out that there are quiet a few genius's on here !!!

How do you have no idea how Mena finished 2nd?   The played good football all season,   except one game, which their CLEAR CUT best player missed.    They score a ton of points and the defensive secondary is really good.    Last nights game was 40-3 with the starters in,  but with 50 seconds left CAC scored its only TD on Mena's backups.      Mena is a really good team,  so is star city and this should be a great matchup.   This game is probably the first step in knowing which Power conference 7 or 8-4A is the best this year!     I am personally hoping another long travel day is to much for Star City to overcome , along with a loud home town fan base cheering on the Bearcats!

We traveled 3 hours and beat Newport, and we will travel 3 hours and beat Mena. Can someone come up with a better reason why Star City will lose other than travel? Travel will not be a factor in the game, period. Now if you give me other reasons why we might lose, then I will respect your opinion.

Eddie I can finally agree with you about something getting into a battle of wits with you would be a total waste of my time. It's apparent that you have some sort of  dislike for SC or SC Football and whatever the reason is doesn't really matter to me.  I have never seen a fan get so upset about his team WINNING a ball game. You are acting like a spoiled rotten little kid that kicks and screams when something doesn't go their way. If high school football eats you up like that maybe you ought to look into changing professions and get into coaching!!!  Better luck next year and maybe Star City will beat Crossett next year as bad as they did in 2013 because I think you like it better that way!!'

I would agree,   Both teams are capable of making a run to Little Rock,  This has the feel of more of a semi or quarter final matchup then a 2nd round game!   Other than the Travel and home field advantage for picking Mena to win,   I believe Mena's Defensive coordinator Craig Bentley will have the defense lineup and playing great with a good scheme.    The past couple of weeks this defense has looked Great against Fountain lake and CAC, and I believe he will have them ready to go playing some of their best football all season.   And Mena's offense is to dynamitic to not put up at least 28 points and that maybe enough to get the win!
