I hear Annie Camp girls have 2  5'11 post players
That's good size for Jr High. That will be tough to stop.

Nea, with all these scores, did they have something covering the basket?

It was most teams first game and  they looked sloppy at times ,a lot of easy misses around the goal, that they will  usually make. Throwing the ball away trying to force it running plays on offense. Typical first game jitters stuff.
Marion beat Gosnell boys by 30 I heard.

Proud of girls tonight who battled all game long , down 33-35 with 9 sec left in game we had to foul ,they missed the first at the line but got the rebound and flipped it up and in  plus the foul , after the made foul shot We got off a 3 but it was off. Lots of room for improvement but I really like the talent coming up!!  Will play either VV or Rivercrest tomorrow at 5:45
I would guess Kalifa Ford had close to 18pts for Brookland.

Marion 62 Gosnell 37

Lots of room for improvement for the Pirates. Marion is the real deal with tons of talent. By far the best Jr boys team that I saw play tonight, and I watched part of the last three games. Had 3 different players hit 3's and a 6'5'' kid that stuffed it twice, once of an offensive rebound. Proud of the Pirates heart and hustle tonight, they just came across a much better team. Good luck Brookland.

Thanks we will definitely have our hands full, I was over watching our girls play , I heard the same about Marion, going to be a tough game vs the Patriots. Good luck on Gosnells next game!!
