Title: Marriage makes transfer player eligible
Post by: Maynard G Krebs on November 02, 2017, 04:15:05 pm
Per Arkansas Online:  A 17 year old transfer athlete (from another Hot Springs area school) earlier ruled ineligible to play for Mtn. Pine became eligible when he married his 17 year old bride and moved in with his in-laws.

He must really want to play football, seeing as how he is willing to live with the in-laws and all.  ;)

We had a little discussion down on the 2A board about it.

Certainly a twist.

These kinds of stories make me sad for Arkansas.
