FEARLESS FACTS: Both teams were regional champions, advancing to the state tournament at No. 1 seeds. ...  Both teams won easily on Semifinal Saturday, Izard County by 75-46 over County Line and Nevada by 56-38 over Hillcrest. ... Izard County won its first 12 games of the season before losing to Class 6A North Little Rock and is now on on a 21-game winning streak since losing to Class 5A Marion in December. ... Izard County's three state tournament wins were by a combined 101 points. ... Nevada is on a 12-game winning streak and won all three of its state tournament games by a combined 62 points. ... Izard County is back in the championship game after losing last year to Guy-Perkins. ... This is rematch of the 2008 state championship game when Izard County beat Nevada, 60-51, for the state title which is Izard County's only state title although Violet Hill, which merged with Oxford to form Izard County Consolidated in 1985, won state championships in 1983 and 1939.

FEARLESS FACTS: Wonderview is on a roll, appearing in its 6th state championship game in the last eight years but first under Squires, who took the Wonderview to two state finals and won the title in 2010. ... Wonderview is the defending state champion, defeating Mount Vernon-Enola last year and also won the title in 2012 with a win over Kingston. ... Wonderview has won 13 straight games. ... Rural Special lost in the second round of the regionals and was the third seed in the state tournament. ... This marks the fourth meeting this season between the two schools with Wonderview winning the two 1A-5 conference games and also the in the district tournament.

Thank you HF. I cut the cord, so I do not have local tv, when I did it was from Springfield, MO living in North Arkansas. Look like it is at nfhs network for those looking, $10:still cheaper than driving to HS and buying tickets.
