Abby Dietche, post for Highland, suffered a concussion last night in Highland's 46-43 loss to DeQueen.

Thankful for this news because the parents were worried of neck issues. She is walking and talking and should

be back to normal soon. Just in case anyone was wondering.  Highland is preparing to make a deeper run in this

tournament next year. Go East Region! Bring home the title!!

She is a great player , prayers for her and her family , full recovery!!
Highland played great!
Great Season for the Lady Rebels!!

Pioneers played much better, although they may have set a state record for travels, against a good Farmington team. Unlike football where my post tend to trend on the side of wishful thinking I can honestly say if Batesville plays as they are capable of they will be hard to beat.

I am curious...why did the 2E girls' team (Pulaski Academy) get a first-round bye in the state tournament whereas the 2S entry (DeQueen) and 2N entry (Berryville) both had to play first-round games when both DeQueen and Berryville are higher-ranked in the polls and season play?  What did they do to earn that one game pass?

When they have a big format or conference shakeup they don't rotate the next year. If I remember right the same thing happened when they went to blended conferences a few years back

Greatdane6

And they still rotate it even with that blended conference I know that for a fact

Obviously, everyone hates your team and has it out for them.  That's why.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Good job Brookland. I can't wait till Saturday. I hope the Pioneers watch the game film of the last game vs Brookland 10 times.

NEASportsFan1

Yep Jessie, Batesville gets that rematch with brookland after all. This time the stakes are a lot higher than for a regional title. Coach Fowler gets the girls on track this time around and gets that coveted ticket to Hot Springs.

I know of about 5 or 6 minutes in that film that they can fast forward through... Hahaha

On a serious note, will this game be streamed?
