Abby Dietche, post for Highland, suffered a concussion last night in Highland's 46-43 loss to DeQueen.

Thankful for this news because the parents were worried of neck issues. She is walking and talking and should

be back to normal soon. Just in case anyone was wondering.  Highland is preparing to make a deeper run in this

tournament next year. Go East Region! Bring home the title!!

She is a great player , prayers for her and her family , full recovery!!

I am curious...why did the 2E girls' team (Pulaski Academy) get a first-round bye in the state tournament whereas the 2S entry (DeQueen) and 2N entry (Berryville) both had to play first-round games when both DeQueen and Berryville are higher-ranked in the polls and season play?  What did they do to earn that one game pass?
