Congrats to the Mcgehee coach for stalling them out of a chance to win the game. I'd hate to play for a coach who had no faith in the team to execute offensively with the game on the line and just asks to hold the ball for 3 minutes instead of running a play to look for a shot. I feel sorry for the Owls players actually. Good win to HA though. Sorry HA deserves to win. Mcgehee's coach played to not lose rather than to win the game and sadly he cost his players a chance.


What is up with these coaches ego's and stalling? These kids only get 3 years to play and most will never have the chance to play after high school and you ask them to just stall  ..... That's not even allowing your players to compete really at that point. You feel especially bad for the seniors on that team.

Now that I have better signal, I want to say Rivercrest played a great ballgame and made DC earn it. The HA/McGehee game was also incredible to watch. I hate McGehee held it for 3min in OT, but it was a heck of a game! Good luck to everyone and travel safe.

Today was a good first day I really enjoyed every game today. We had 3 overtime games today. I love how hard each team came out and played some good ball

I agree.  It's a shame I couldn't stay for all the games as I follow the scores on here.  Several of us came in a van together ..(some school kids, some retired folks and some of us who still work) so we had to leave as it's a 4 1/2 hr drive. I'll miss the games tomorrow but will most definitely follow the action and results here. I appreciate your updates (and those of others) for the ones of us who can't make it to each game. I'll return Thursday evening but will keep my phone close by to see how the teams do.  The people fortunate enough to be there for all or most of the games the first day definitely got their money's worth.

Yes I am.  Thank goodness we hit our free throws toward the end yesterday and Rivercrest went cold on theirs. They played well. Both teams did.
