Given that Paris is 0-4, I would think the Warriors should be a heavy favorite in this one, especially with the game at Lamar.

Paris is really down. Marcy rule in the first half.

Who's Marcy? And why does she get to be in charge? LOL!

You know ... Marcy ... the kid that wore glasses on "Peanuts." Only she finally became tired of being pushed around by Peppermint Patty, and she's doing the shoving these days!

Lamar will be the Marcy playground on Friday night. Warriors name their score.

I think (hope) that Lamar may be a little better than we thought at the beginning of the year, but it has been hard to tell from their schedule so far. Danville was a quality win, but neither team played up to their potential. Hard to tell too much at Cedarville because of the terrible playing conditions. We just need to take care of business each week.

Hootens picks Lamar by 22. Hopefully that will be (at least) correct. And I want to see the Warriors look sharp, and tough.

Marcy shows up! Lamar 35 Paris 0 halftime.

Visited with Marcy for a minute.  Good conversation

Probably more interesting than the game.

MICHAELSPAPPY

Lamar looked sluggish early, but they just had too many horses for Paris. The Warriors have some backs that run hard, and some big guys up front.

MICHAELSPAPPY

About all we learned is that the Warriors are good enough to beat a bad team solidly with the distractions of homecoming. And the second team did show us a little on offense.

And hats off to whomever takes care of the Lamar field. It is in great shape.

Got the best grass field in this area no doubt.
