Decided to switch up the format. I'll give brief bios and list the favorites, dark horses and long shots.

100 Meters

The Favorites


1. Kavin Alexander NLR JR.

Winner of the 7A Central 100m in 2012 as a sophomore with a time of 11.09. Has ran the 100m twice this season.

Fastest time this season: 10.88

2. Brandon Cox Conway SR.

Finished 2nd to Alexander in the 2012 7A Central 100m. Finished 4th at the 7A State meet. Has two 2nd place finishes and four 1st places finishes this year including a victory over last year's state champion Chase Lamers.

Fastest time this season: 10.98

3. Tre James LR Central JR.

Finished 6th at the 2012 7A Central Conference meet. Has split 2 meetings with Cox. Has a 1st, 2nd and two 6th place finishes this season.

Fastest time this season: 10.99

4. Robert Holland Fort Smith Southside SR.

Finished 4th in the 2012 7A West Conference meet. Finished 3rd in the 7A State meet. Has ran the 100m twice this season.

Fastest time this season: 10.96

Dark Horses

1. Altee Tenpenny NLR SR.

Finished 15th in the Prelims at the 2012 7A Central Conference. Has a 2nd, two 4ths, and a 6th place finish this season.

Fastest time this season: 11.25

2. Logan Moragne LR Central JR.

Has a 3rd, 7th, 8th and 9th place finish this season.

Fastest time this season: 11.18

3. Jacob Currence LR Catholic SR.

Best finish this season was 3rd. Has had up-and-down times this season.

Fastest time this season: 11.33

4. Layton Alley Cabot JR.

Best finish this season was 4th. 1st year competing. Went from 12.04 to 11.67 to 11.64 to 11.37.

Fastest time this season: 11.37

5. Daniel Weston Fort Smith Northside SO.

Has ran an 11.04 this season, but his other 2 times were 11.46 and 11.49

Fastest time this season: 11.04

Long Shots

1. Rodney Bryson NLR SR.

Finished 3rd at the 2012 7A Central Conference meet. 2012 State Championship competitor. Has not run well this season. Ran an 11.21 in 2012.

Fastest time this season: 11.65

2. Kendale Allen West Memphis SR.

Finished 4th at the 2012 7A Central Conference meet. Has not run well this year. Ran an 11.37 in 2012.

Fastest time this season: 11.77

Who makes it to state?

Pencil in Alexander, Cox, James, and Holland. The last 2 spots should go to Tenpenny and Moragne, but watch out for Alley from Cabot.

1. Kavin Alexander NLR JR.
