According to a article in The Waldron News, The WHS Golf team has placed 1st the last 4 games under it's New Coach Noah Chagnon(sp).

Waldron is stepping up it's game this year and will be playing this week on their own club at Waldron this thursday the 23rd.

It noted some top players and some were even girls! ;D

Good Luck Waldron.

I've watched some of the Waldron kids in the JR ASGA last several years. They have some kids that can play. They should do well this year!

Ozark Girls are 4 for 4 and have had 1 girl (Peyton Timmerman) medal in 3 matches and another girl (Cy Floyd) in the other.
Ozark Boys are 3 for 4 and was runner up in the other. Ozark's John Edgin was medalist in 2 of the matches.
Match today at The Creeks in Cave Springs.
Good luck Hillbillies!

Correction. Ozark's Peyton Timmerman & Emery King were co-medalist in one match. Ozark has 5-6 girls that can medal at any given match. Girls are 5-0
Ozark's John Edgin has medaled in 3 of the 4 matches he has played in and was only 2 strokes off in the other.

Ozark girls move to 6-0 in match with Shiloh, Huntsville & Gravette at Scotsdale last Thursday. Boys runner up to Shiloh 5 strokes back.
Next match Monday at Ozark.

Ozark girls & boys both win at Ozark against Gentry. Peyton Timmerman was medalist for the girls. Ozark's John Edgin & Gentry's Mark White were co-medalists for the boys.

Ozark boys win & Ozark girls runner up at Big Sugar yesterday. Ozark's Britten Harden was co-medalist for the boys. Congrats Hillbillies!

Just got word that Pea Ridge has won 1 -4A conference championship today in the boys division.  Not to bad for two sophomores and two Juniors.  They should really make some noise next year.

DogsWin7

Any word on how the district golf tournament went today in 4A-4?  What schools placed where?  Thanks

DogsWin7

Waldron Sr. girls District Runner-up.  Congrats.   Good Luck to everyone at State!

Good luck to both teams at State!

Ozark girls repeat as Conf champs. Ozark's Peyton Timmerman was medalist. They are 2 SOs & 2 JRs. Good luck Lady Hillbillies! Take State!

For the boys, Edgin shot a 79. Pea Ridge's #1 (don't know his name) shot an 80.
For the girls, Timmerman an 85.

Ozark Girls State Runner up. JR Peyton Timmerman & SOs Cy Floyd & Hayley Smith make All State!
That raises the bar pretty high for next year for this young team......

Waldron placed 6th I believe out of 12 teams.

No one has more state titles than Jonesboro, look it up. However, I must congratulate the Lake Hamilton girls, they won the 6A girls state tennis championship  ending JHS's run of 6 in a row, our boys did win their 5th in a row, though.

Done won?  Well, it won't be Quiz Bowl if that's any example of the students. How was boy's golf or tennis? Oh, I know, we will only hear about the ones you win.
