Berryville is a very hard place to win for sure but I honestly think the right coach could have them at least making the playoffs. Albeit all 4A schools are rural, Berryville and Huntsville are extremely rural compared to the other 1-4A schools. The other 1-4A schools are mainly "bedroom" communities for families working in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and Fayetteville. That demographic makes it harder for Berryville and Huntsville in football. And I agree the 1-4A is only a strong league about 2 out of every 10 years. The last being the 2011 and 2012 seasons so like I said the right coach can definitely get them making the playoffs in this particular conference.

A coach from the current staff will be named head coach at the next school board meeting. My source said he may be given the title interim coach but it will be the one they want for next season.

If so best wishes... the guy is in for an uphill climb. The only requirement is to keep losing to Prairie Grove. He can beat whoever else he wants.
