THE BEST QB IN 2A FOOTBALL THIS YEAR

I read it like Tha View was making a statement that Tha View was the best QB in 2A football this year.   :o

Hard to argue with that since we don't have a clue who TV is or for which team he (or she) plays.

Dragon I

With a debut like that, I'm willing to bet it's a Gurdon fan.

QB at Bearden  young is a really good athlete and player

polksalet

HorseFeathers

4-2A Tanner Gaines....Kid got better as the season went along last season, until we ran into Junction City, and might have been one of our few Dim Spots(Outside of opening drive We had no bright spots LoL) on offense against them as he completed some passes and what not. If we can find some folks to throw the ball to, and do some blocking for him, he could have a big year this year...

Young should handle the pressure well, being a 3 year starter.  Plus he has weapons to go to.

Talked with a friend at Rison, he said Junction city had a team full of freaks in the weight meet. How is their QB going to look

redbug

Dragon I

Holyfield came on strong at the end of the year.  Had a rough outing against Carlisle in the playoffs but bounced back with a good showing against Des Arc.  Another summer of 7 on 7 and working with his receivers should pay off big this fall.

heavyhittaz_7

Monta is going to b a sophomore at hermitage and the starting qb. He is a pretty talented kid and play both sides of the ball well. Took there Jr high to the district championship game last year and to one of the best record that have been at hermitage in awhile but lost to JC Jr high... but back to the post. Monta Thomas will b one of the top qbs in 2a this year....

Dragon I

Not this year.  He will be one of the best athletes in 2A.

Justin Joyner Dierks move in from Broken Bow, Ok. 6'0 210lb junior with 4.5 speed should have a breakout season with the outlaws.

bdubyab60

It takes a little bit more to be a QB than just playing the QB position.

We probably need to go back using the single wing again , especially with Ross in the backfield now along with Jamond and a good line for them to run behind , the Bears will be hard to stop and they still will have the threat of Jamond's arm if they can find someone that can get open and catch it ... I wish we had used the single wing last year ...

The Brazeal kid from England will b one to watch for the next few years.

Mountainburg's QB will dominate the 4-2A by going 7-1 in conference play only to be bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Mountainburg just keeps losing home playoff games in the 1st round for some reason. I just can not believe a town can be so obsessed about football and only have 3 playoff wins in school history.

I really think the outlaws will be better this year than last year. The offense will be hard to stop. The defense will have some question marks in the secondary .

Hey Cuz is that your way of asking if Dierks can beat JC, simple answer would but probably not but if they make it to Little Rock i guess we would see. Heard they had another kid about a month ago move back to Dierks from somewhere in Texas should help out in the WR area.

Eager to see how brazeal does in england this year has a lot of weapons if can get some time could have a big year

They have a top 10 rb in 2a good size on off and def line. Weakness probably going be Defense secondary lost 3/4 there but got good classes moving up the past couple of years surely a few of them can step in and make a difference.

Big Boy

Hmmm.  Have not heard about the move-in at QB.  I believe TK can be a little Manziel'ish for the Outlaws this year.  As long as someone steps up and becomes a target down the field we should be ok.

Outlaws4life26, i think you're talking about the Green kid.  He's moved back from New Mexico and should be able to contribute somewhere.  He played FB/LB in Jr. High.  Someone said he played QB in NM, but I'm not sure what the plans for him are right now.  We should be fine and ready to re-load.  Go Outlaws!

Quarterback Randall Holyfield set several school records in Junction City's 39 - 0 win over Bearden Friday night at Rogers Field in Bearden. Holyfield completed 10 out of 12 passes for 255 yards and 6 touchdowns, all in the first half.

Holyfield's 255 yards is a school record for passing yards in a half. The six touchdown passes is a school record for most touchdown passes in a half and for a game.
