I think you are right, this is a school record. Billy Stewart is still undecided but will be on a college campus somewhere next season.

footballcoach2015

Parker Ross signed with the Army

Did anyone from Malvern get college offers?

Gray lizard

Chris Kershner Dardanelle signed with Navy.
Austin McNeeley Pottsville signed with Arkansas Tech.  I am glad I will be able to watch him play for Tech.

AirWarren

Kershner will be an amazing fit in the Navy offense.

He has speed for that level of football.  What should be realistic expectation of when and how much playing time he could see?  I will sure be watching and following his progress.

AirWarren

The thing about that offense, is you don't need world class speed. The offensive scheme in itself causes problems for defense and if he can get through hole created by the line, I bet you he is good for 3-6 yards a carry at least.

One thing for sure. He is going to have to bulk up. He is fast and it didn't bother him in high school but he is an undersized guy. But in that offense, you could put him at one of the wings and let him get loose.

I'll be looking for him. I think he found the perfect fit for college in many aspects.

The thing about it is most kids that play for any of the Military Academies are under sized but their tenacity kinda make up for some of it but I agree he is going to have to put on some weight at that level of play. Glad to see that the kid is playing at the next level and he deserve it, he probably played on the best 2 teams that Dard has ever had IMO.

I just read that Bo Gray from Malvern signed with Arkansas Tech. Yay for Bo!

Dardanelle

Brings the total to 9 players to sign. By far the most in one class at Nashville. Great to see all of these exceptional athletes have the opportunity to continue their career.

Did anyone notice Arkansas only signed 4 Arkansas players and none from a higher classification than 4A?
Why is the 5A, 6A, and 7A not producing more?

AirWarren

Because. 5a conference is weak. 6a is weak as a whole. And the only two teams worth a crap in 7a is Fayetteville and Bentonville.

Top to bottom. The 4a has the best football in the state.

I don't know the bottom is pretty low but our top is quite salty. I think our top teams would give the top 5a and a run for their money the top 6a and 7a schools are just too deep for most 4a teams.

I agree that the first 12-15 players are usually similar, but at 4A and below the depth drops off much quicker.

Rowlett, Tx to Liberty Eylau to Blevins to Hope I believe.

I saw him play basketball at Blevins as a 9th grader and knew then that young man was going to be special. Sure wish the Blevins principal would have made the phone call to Nashville instead of Hope. He lived in Emmet so I guess Hope did make more sense.
