Wonderview beats England by 1 on a three at the buzzer in OT great game by both sides. We are still missing a starter for at least another week due to a bruised knee she got last Friday vs Poyen and had a girl who played a lot off the bench put for a leadership conference. I'm happy with how we played though that tonight and hopefully it gets us ready for a road battle at Magnet Cove tomorrow night. Wonderview girls are a really good and young team good luck to y'all the rest of the way!!

Actually it looks like England was struggling in the 2nd half of that game.

Tale of 2 halves actually, the lions kept their top scorer in check for most of the game. They did have another scoring threat that had to step up. England knew that the #12 kid is a great player,(who is playing for Henderson state next season) would be the one guy that if he saw daylight would score tons of points. Hats off to both teams, Jessieville is a great team and ranked in the top 5 of the 3a. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

The girls game was a battle to the end as well. Was very proud that they never quit and kept battling the entire game.

If you want to come watch an epic game, come to England tomorrow at 4:30 for the girls 2a top 1 and 2 ranked teams. That's going to be a battle!

England played a really good game against a very good Jessieville team.  England jumped out to an early  lead and held on for the win.  Our PG picked picked up his fourth foul in the third quarter and had to sit for a lot of the second half.  It was a hard fought and we'll deserved win.

That would make most any team struggle. England only scoring 14 points in a half is struggling.
