Fountain Lake at Maumelle

Maumelle hasn't been scored against all season. Fountain Lake is off to a great start at 2-0. The Cobras won in a rain-shortened game in 2012, but the Hornets blanked the Cobras 35-0 a year ago.

For those interested, the game will be broadcast on 92.9 KVRE FM out of Hot Springs Village this Friday with pregame at 6:30 PM and kickoff at 7:00 PM.

Most are picking LRC as a top 10 5A team.  Let's see how they do against Maumelle.  Even though they aren't much bigger FL is much improved from last year.  So far, so good.

Maumelle was scored upon by Jacksonville, which the Hornets won 9-7.  Tonight Hornets and Cobras tied 6-6.  Cobras missed a 42 yard FG as time expired.

 FL held Maumelle to 2 FG.  FL scored in the 4th but had a bad snap on the extra point.  Maumelle made mistakes too including a bad snap as they were driving late in the 4th. Both can clean it up and be decent teams.
