Has anyone read this?  Very thought provoking. Sad, but very good.

True Believer

No, but I want to read it.  Started to buy it yesterday but held off.  I can't decide if I want to see the movie and then read it or read it and then see the movie.  Anyway I do it, the book will be better I'm sure.

i started it last night.  i'm only about 60 pages in.  had other stuff to do today.  i have read several jodi picoult books and most of them are though provoking.  they are very good.

I would read the book first. I am hearing the movie is different than the book.  Some major changes that to me takes out some of the very "thought provoking" stuff.  That's too bad.

Definitely read the book.

Expect tears at the end, if not well before then.

I haven't yet seen the movie, but the book is very good.

i finished it.  i had a friend who read the book then saw the movie.  she hated the movie after reading the book.  her daughter did not read the book but loved the movie.  the ending in the movie is completely and totally different than the book.  they also left some major characters out and changed the ages on the kids.
