Just read this book written by Chris Gardner, who was the inspiration behind the movie The pursuit of happyness. The movie played by Will Smith was a very inspiring account of Gardner's struggles during his time in San Fransisco in the early 80's. The book however is completely different the film. So different that you might change your perception about him as a person.

He doesn't hold anything back in the book detailing his past drug use and sexual acts with women. He displays a lot of anger in the book, which shows by the amount of profanity used and at times comes off as very arrogant. A lot of his financial problems were also self-induced. One part of the book that was troubling to me was despite having money saved up to stay in a motel for his son he opted to sleep in the subway's. The film was great but not quite accurate to what really transpired.
